I loved the hotel and the staff could not be more helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could possibly be. They even made a Gluten free pudding for my husband. The rooms were spotless and the views are incredible. We did not use the spa so cannot comment. The golf buggies that give you a lift to the rooms are a lifesaver.

My only gripes which were really very minor, was that you had to pay for water with your evening meal on the half board basis. Also the pool music was a dance music with a DJ on certain days which was very loud. Some people loved this, so I appreciate that’s down to individual taste and you cannot please everyone.

We had a room with a spa on the balcony and ocean view. It was great and the view was fantastic. The buffet at breakfast was excellent. Great variety et very good quality. The staff was absolutely great.

There is no access to the beach. The pool is small and the area around it is quite shallow. But we were told that those issues would be solved within the next year (new larger pool and beach access).

The staff was amazing, room was super nice and clean, pools were very good. We are very pleased with our stay.

It has been mentioned here over and over again and we will add this as well - drinks were way too expensive. We are always staying in hotels with similar price range and they never have such high prices for drinks. Would have been a 10/10 hotel, if drink prices were normal. Otherwise drinks were very good.

Excellent resort a 20 minute walk to Elounda town. Very new and opened this season and so there appear to be a few teething problems. But on the plus side the rooms are very well appointed, super comfy bed, spacious bathroom with rain shower. We loved the sea view over the bay and with a private jacuzzi on the balcony. The buffet breakfast and dinner are very tasty with great variety and fresh specialties. Service can be a little hit and miss and although the staff are super friendly it is not quite 5 star service. The main pool area is nice but not especially attractive. We didn't use the new outdoor gym but it looks reasonably well-equipped. 20 minute walk to town, which can be quite hot during the day, but most other people seemed to have a car. There is a small stoney beach across the road.

Service could be a little unprofessional and slow at times but all the staff were very friendly.

The location is spectacular, couldn't fault it. So scenic and unspoilt, and then just a manageable walk or quick taxi into the vibrancy of Elounda or beauty of Plaka, both with copious amounts of stunning restaurants. Also, worth upgrading to a room that has a private pool with sea view. Breakfast was good - with an exclusive amount of guests staying at the resort, it allows the chefs to create really high quality food, rather than produced on mass, which you see in many buffets where there are more guests. Staff - great. Sara and Zoe, and everyone else, were exceptionally helpful. In short - phenomenal location and hotel, excellent staff and relaxed vibe.

The a la carte restaurant is in a lovely setting, but didn't feel very inviting - not sure what it's missing, but I'd suggest this is the area that could be better for guests to enjoy who aren't staying half board. The pool area is small, as many guests have their private pool to enjoy - but it can still get crowded. Only a minor comment, and not a biggie. Same with the outdoor gym - just needs a little bit more in terms of equipment and sun cover. Again, super minor, as it is hard to pick fault with this place. The hotel would do well to offer all day snacks or a small shop on site for essentials, so guests don't need to visit Elounda for a couple of basic items.

Stunning property, only recently opened. Our room was very spacious and the bottle of wine in the room and hot tub on the balcony were wonderful extras. Staff were super friendly throughout and really helpful recommending restaurants and arranging dinner for my partner’s birthday. We took the half board rate and ate in about half the time and there was a different style dinner every evening, so always plenty of variety. All food, including breakfast was super fresh and extensive. Points to note: it’s a pleasant 20-25 min flat walk along the seafront to Elounda village; the hotel is built into a hill so expect a short, steep walk, or get a lift in their buggy; the shower in some rooms has a glass door so not always private from the room (it didn’t bother us but may some); drinks are not included in the half board rate; Elounda has some delightful shops and restaurants (recommend Megaro for dinner and Olous for lunch) and you can get boat trips to Spinalonga here; Agios Nikolaos is only a 10-12 min taxi ride at c€22 each way with more shopping and plenty of eateries; we scuba dived with Creta’s Happy Divers who were absolutely brilliant. All in all we had a truly relaxing break and would highly recommend!

Our only very very small gripe: please get some teaspoons! Wooden stirrers are not at all 5 star

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. The staff, particular shout out to all reception staff, Petalouda in housekeeping, Mario in restaurant and Chrisa & Katerina at the spa. The food was exceptional quality with lots to choose from every morning & night. The cleanliness of the resort was second to none, rooms cleaned daily. I understand the hotel is not fully completed yet, such as second restaurant, a new pool & full spa. You can walk into the town of Elounda which is 2k. Recommend visiting Plaka a little village of approximately 2k in length with crystal clear waters and lots of resturants. Recommend visiting beach bar Isla bistro. Taxi cost €20 return from hotel, not possible to walk as no footpath.

I think it’s worth pointing out that the “spa” is not exactly a spa it’s a treatment room. I do understand that new spa is being developed. They provide treatments such as facials, massages and body wraps. The treatments are wonderful. I had a facial and massage with Katrina when I was there and it was amazing. There are limited sun beds around the communal pool. Also, sound proofing in rooms isn’t great particularly at front of hotel, but you get used to it after a few nights. I also thought the hotel was on the beach but it is a short walk up the road. Less than 3 mins but it a very small beach and beds cost €40 for 2 beds for the day.

The room was great with an incredible view, very clean and everything you could need. The team were always super helpful, the breakfast and dinner had good options and was nice to have half board to have some easier nights to relax on site. It was lovely and quiet, the remote location made it very chilled and a proper retreat. We visited local restaurants on two evenings one was a short walk and the other only €9 in a cab in the main centre of Elounda. The new pool area was lovely even for the evenings by the bar and you could happily spend the days there, albeit a bit expensive for drinks but again very attentive staff.

The food options at the pool were limited outside of some sushi, couple of salads and sandwiches and as the restaurant doesn’t open for lunch that means you might need to head into the town to get something more substantial or if your just not into a club sandwich and fries. The second restaurant only opens on Tuesdays and Thursdays for dinner and the menu is limited and we wondered why it was so quiet given the hotel was pretty full but the food was not the best and given the remote location having a second dinner option and somewhere nice to dine and spend time of an evening would have been great.

The breakfast and dinner were great, very good range and choice. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was great, air conditioning and TV worked perfectly, really clean. The pool facilities were great, which makes up for no private beach access.

It would be good if bottled water was included within the price. Only other recommendation would be that the tables need numbers, your order for the omelettes can get lost! Getting a taxi can be a bit of a pain, you order one at reception (as do a few other guests), then there is a bit of confusion for who's taxi is who's - and when its hot, you dont want to wait for too long!

We were upgraded to a Suite with Sea View and Private Pool which was really nice - I'd really recommend this option. Rooms have both air con and a fan which is welcome in the heat, the usual iron/hairdryer etc and a great shower. The main pool area is really nice, 5 pools clustered together of varying sizes. There was never a trouble for sunbeds no matter when turning up to the pool which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. There was also a nice outside gym area, not a ton of equipment but enough for a holiday.

The buffet experience wasn't bad, but could be improved - I'd prefer a drinks station at breakfast to pour your own juice. The food, especially at dinner, wasn't particularly Greek in nature and didn't vary massively over the week. It was fine but certainly not a highlight. The walk to town, especially in summer is a bit of a slog so just be aware of that before thinking you can quickly pop to the shops - I'd probably hire a car if I came again to explore more.
