Mastrojanni Relais was the second hotel during our 11-night road trip around Tuscany for our honeymoon (we stayed in 4 places in total). This place is beautiful – the views are out of this world. We had an amazingly big room which was quiet and private. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. We were also delighted to dine at their first summer BBQ which was lovely – as a vegetarian, they went out of their way to make sure I was catered for. We loved being able to relax by the pool and order drinks and lunch to our sun beds.

The only 'bad' thing was there was no real setting area in our bedroom. Make sure to book any wine tastings or excursions in advance – we arrived at check-in and they said it wasn't possible to book a massage during our three-night stay due to not being able to get the staff in. We would've booked before arriving if we knew it was difficult, but it wasn't a big deal.

The serenity and the beauty of this property and surrounding area are unbelievable. Time literally stood still. My favorite part of 2 wks in Europe traveling to 3 different countries and multiple cities. The restaurant was fantastic for breaksfast, lunch and dinner. The food was grown from the beautiful garden that you can check out. Simple, yet delightful and better than many other places we have eaten during the trip. The staff were welcoming and passionate about what they do. We loved this place.

Perfect experience in Montalcino. Mastrojanni Relais is located in Montalcino, where you can find the world-best Brunello. The apartment was great in every aspect, room seems to be newly furnished and fully equipped with everything we needed. They have a very good taste in interior decoration and the room is just like a piece of art. We had our dinner at the restaurant and the florentine steak is so good that we would highly recommend to everyone. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, we would definitely come back again!

Georgiously designed and maintained property with exhilirating views, superb dining, and a staff that constantly exceeded expectations with friendliness and helpfullness. Breakfasts were included and they spared no expense in making sure you had significant choices, eggs any way, delicious patries, fresh coffee, etc. The winery just a short walk down the road was state of the art and the wines of Mastrajanni, especially the single vineyard offerings, were some of the best Brunello we have had. The rooms were large, clean and very quiet. the views from all rooms breathtaking.

Everything about Mastrojanni Relais was wonderful. The lovely staff, The restaurant and great food, The wine, The rooms, The air conditioning that actually worked well ( rare in other properties!) The location, The Pool and Terrace, The small spa facility, The Breakfast was the best we had in 2 weeks. Thoroughly recommend . Thank you for a lovely stay. We will return.

The only thing we would change is to have king beds instead of queens, There is plenty of room so not sure why they used smaller queens.

Realis Mastrojanni is heaven on earth! I cannot speak too highly of this magnificent hotel. It is beautiful, in a magnificent location with views to die for. Our room was beautiful - clean, quite and comfortable. The swimming pool is glorious and we spent our afternoons lazing by the pool, and taking in the beautiful Tuscan landscape. We couldn’t fault it. Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful and professional. It seems they all love what they do and do it well every time! Particular mention of Filippo who checked us in and showed us around. Also Andrea in the restaurant provided fantastic service - and made the BEST Negroni I have ever had! The food provided in the restaurant was wonderful - Tuscan style and local produce - every meal was a delight. It was a joyful stay for us and I highly recommend this wonderful establishment!

Our family of four booked a family suite. The environment was very nice, the facilities were excellent, and my two daughters loved the swimming pool. The breakfast and dinner were also excellent. The service was attentive and friendly. We also went to visit their winery. It was a very good experience. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This place is exceptional! From the beginning of our stay until the end- the staff of this resort went above and beyond to take excellent care of us. We felt like celebrities. The resort only has 11 rooms, some of which are suites, so it feels very private and peaceful. We had 2 sweets that were super spacious and comfortable, with modern furnishings. The breakfast they serve is absolutely delicious, and all the lunches and dinners are prepared to perfection. The infinity pool is serene and comfortable, with breathtaking views of Montalcino. If you're looking for a relaxing stay/stop over in Tuscany on your trip to Italy, look no further! You will not regret staying in this place. We did not want to leave. Absolutely fantastic!

The staff was my favorite part. We thoroughly enjoyed the staff dinner. The bed, shower, and grounds were absolutely lovely. The wine tasting was amazing as well.

The relaxation area had a wonderful sauna. However, the hot tub was not hot, and the water level was too low for the jets to work. Also, there were parts of bugs (thorax with legs, wings) in the water. This was however included in the price of the stay.
