Location was excellent with many good restaurants very near. The offered breakfast menu was good, if simple.

Staff were uninterested in serving anyone. The waiter at breakfast was often chatting with colleagues or on his phone during slower periods. Checkout person claimed they could not print the receipt for business expense as they 'had no printer'...upon being pushed that this was extremely unusual, they admitted they had a printer, but it was not working. They also could not e-mail the receipt because it was booked through Bookings.com This was eventually settled by her colleague printing out the receipt on the other printer at reception desk. The initial front desk person acted annoyed their colleague printed my receipt. I have rarely experienced, as a business traveler in the U.S. or abroad, a customer facing hotel employee with an attitude that was so poorly suited to the job.

Great location on the waterfront and awesome service! The room was spacious and very comfortable! The gym and restaurant at the hotel were also great. We really enjoyed the hotel perks as well, such as credits for snacks and a discount at the Cafe across the street.

The parking situation was a little unclear upon arrival. The garage is open to the public during the day and is very small, so we were initially told by the attendant that lot was full and we couldn't park there, however once we checked in the staff was able to help us get a space in the garage.

The hotel is in a great location. Staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Marvin in particular was going extra miles to help us solving issues during our stay. The room is clean. We changed our room due to some glitches. The room we moved in was wonderful with beautiful river view! The room was well insulated. Even though the hotel is located in the busiest part of Old Town, the room is quiet! We are local and had our anniversary stay-cation in Old Town. The hotel gave us a very nice experience, thanks to Marvin.

Some minor maintenance thing probably should be taken cared before guests check in. For example, the window shade in our first room got stuck, and cannot come down. There was no way we can sleep with this. That's why we changed room.

The hotel location is superb, very close to Alexandria main atractions and in a quiet zone. Easy access from major highways. The rooms are very pleasant, well equipped and comfortable.

Staff could have been more emphatic - this was a change from our previous stays. There is some construction going on just in front of the hotel. Although I understand that the hotel can't do anything about it, it should let customers know and at least offer the possibility of a room facing to the other side. Parking is too expensive, hotel guests should be offered a discount depending on the lenght of the stay

The location is fantastic, right on the Old Town waterfront and close to King Street/the main drag. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The interior decorating is lovely, a little quirky and fun, and room cleanliness was excellent. There is an on premises parking garage and restaurant, which made the whole experience very easy & comfortable.

No microwave in the room.

We enjoyed our breakfast and the view from the deck while we ate. The room size was perfect but it would have been nice to have a comfortable chair. The art work on the walls was pleasing

We had breakfast a few blocks away. But the stay was wonderful, everything was clean, the temperature in the room was great, the view was amazing, the staff was very pleasant, and the location is perfect! I plan to go back for a girls trip next year!

Everything was great. It starts off with a wonderful scent as you walk into the hotel. The staff is exceptional and the rooms are very roomy.

Parking can be difficult. it's a small garage under the hotel that is open to the public as well. But, that being said, the parking staff is accommodating and very nice.

They have no guest service attendants to take your bag or a valet to park your car. I had to park my car in front of the hotel with my lights flashing, carry my 4 bags up several steps to a luggage cart, push the cart to my room, unload it, and bring in back downstairs. Then I had to move my car to their parking garage and back my car into a tight tandem spot, and return to my hotel room. When you are paying $400 a night, I expect someone to take care of my luggage. Crazy! The room was also extremely small.

The check-in is seamless, provided by Carlos at the front desk. A huge shout out for him in helping me navigate parking. The hotel is convenient to everything. Surprisingly quiet from exterior traffic noise. People on your floor talking, nope. Very boutique. The bar is fantastic!

Well, parking isn't really clear when the Full Sign is up. Apparently that is for people not staying. As a result, we spent an extra hour to find parking fine miles away.
