I appreciated the cleanliness, the friendly staff, the comfortable room.

Unfortunately, some guests had a party Saturday evening in the breakfast area. They continued loud conversations and laughter until about midnight, when I called the front desk to complain. While the staff person tried to stop the noise, he was unsuccessful. I called the police and soon after they arrived, the party ended and I was able to sleep! It was especially annoying since I saw the sign at the front desk about quiet in public areas after 8PM.

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean room, low noise. The man who checked me in asked if a room on the 2nd floor was ok. Said if I preferred 3rd floor he would change rooms for me. Never had that offered before! I kept my 2nd floor room, but was impressed at the thoughtfulness. Loved the free lemon water!

Clean, great staff, decent stay overall.

We were given an accessible room, but it would have been incredibly difficult for many folks with disabilities. The showerhead isn't properly installed, so it sprays water everywhere unless it's at a specific angle, which then sprays straight to the wall.

It was conveniently located. The entire property was spotless. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We didn’t spend much time in the room because we were visiting a sick relative. So it was the perfect place to come back to in the evening to decompress.

All staff members were very helpful, always greeted with a smile and made my stay very pleasant.

The outside of the property just needed to be a bit more polished. Thankfully, the inside of the property was very clean and I would stay there again.

The breakfast was amazing!! Lots of variety! The staff was phenomenal!! Lori went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. My daughter has medical needs and Lori was amazing in making sure we had everything we needed!!

Honestly, nothing!!

Booked this hotel to ride the High Trestle Trail. It’s super close to the trailhead. Very clean hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful, decent little workout room-free weights and some cardio machines (all in good working order!) , and the breakfast buffet was quite nice! I would absolutely stay here again. It is not a brand new hotel so some things are a little dated. But still very clean and quiet and nice.

They provided hot drinks throughout the day. The breakfast had a variety of options and they were delicious.

We prefer firmer beds.

The hotel was what you'd hope for. The breakfast was good. Comfortable.

We reserved and paid a few months earlier. As we drove towards the hotel, I called to see if we could check in early. They didn't have our reservation. Using a third party booking app adds a layer where problems can occur.

Second time husband has stayed here and experience was just as great as first time in December. He'll definitely be staying again when he comes back through in July.

Not hotel related, but Ankeny Diner was closed. Was looking forward to eating there again.
