My husband and son recently stayed at the Myrtleford Hotel and had a very positive experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making them feel welcome from the moment they arrived. The hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to everything. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and it’s clear that the hotel takes great pride in their rooms. There were plenty of towels, which was much appreciated. The food was also a highlight, with a great variety of options to choose from. The hotel is clearly working on improving its facilities, and we look forward to seeing how it evolves in the future. Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d definitely consider returning.

It was right on our route to Falls Creek and was a perfect little spot to stay for the night before continuing in the morning. Nice and clean, comfortable bed, great shower and bathroom, a small fridge, tea and coffee facilities, looked freshly painted. We only had a small room with basics as we were just doing the overnight. We had a late check in and the service was friendly and helpful, getting us our key outside of hours with no hassles. Great place and would stay there again.

The fridge in the room was quite noisy, but apart from that, was great.

Location is great, right in the heart of Myrtleford. Rooms have been recently renovated and every room has their own private bathroom which is rare for pub accommodation, showers have mixer taps so you're not fudging around with a pair of unfamiliar taps. Brian is great, always up for a chat and service is great. They weren't meant to be open for dinner but because they had a full house that evening they opened the kitchen, food is of a good standard for a country pub, beer is fresh and cold so if you're booking check and see when you check in if they're planning to open the kitchen. They also have a bottle shop off the side of the building for take aways. Motorcycles are offered secure parking in the rear as well, cars are offered on-street parking.

Outside of the pub looks a little tired, but speaking to the owner it's on their list of things to do in the future. A classic case of don't judge a book by it's cover.

The Myrtleford Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of town. The staff are professional, courteous, and incredibly welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. The pub is outstanding, offering fresh, flavorful food and ice-cold beverages. The menu caters to all tastes with a variety of delicious options. The outdoor dining area is spacious, child-friendly, and perfect for families, while the indoor dining area provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend The Myrtleford Hotel and look forward to returning!

Staff member Jackson was fantastic, cheery and upbeat. The room was clean, renovated and quiet. Beds were super comfortable, we had twin beds and I wanted to take them home! Bathroom was well laid out and spacious.

It was upstairs ( to be expected in an older property) we used the external staircase after checkin. The fridge was a clear glass display/wine fridge which was so noisy! Had to turn it off to sleep. Bathroom needs a shelf in the shower for shampoo/soap and also somewhere to place toiletries/makeup near the mirror.

This was a very pleasant surprise. The accommodation in the hotel has clearly been recently renovated. The spacious room was well appointed, very clean and nicely decorated. The manager who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. It's right in the centre of town so if you don't want to dine at the pub restaurant you can walk to everything else in town. I will definitely stay again.

No hair dryer provided. Mini bar fridge was very noisy so I turned it off. This is not a criticism but guest rooms are upstairs and I don't think there is a lift so guests with mobility problems should check with the property.

The location in town is fabulous, easy to park and access. The room was comfortable with new carpet and furnishings and looks like new bathroom also with walk in shower and hand hold or rain head shower rose. The room had every thing we needed. We found the bed and pillows comfy and there were enough powerpoints including usb's to charge our devices. It was lovely to be able to step out onto the wide verandah and sit and admire the view. Each room on the front of building opened to the large verandah so we ciuld imagine a group of friends enjoying the flex to meet easily from their rooms. Also, the rooms are not above the bar so we heard nothing. We would stay here again.

We got there just as they had finished cleaning, and the smell of bleach was very strong but thats for our safety so we just left the door to the fabulous verandah open and the bathroom fan on

Bed very comfortable & room & bathroom clean. Room not spacious if you intend staying for long period but was perfect for overnight stay. Great location. Would happily stay here again if we return to this area.

We did not check that the hotel itself (bar/ restaurant ) was not open Monday & Tuesday (when we stayed) but maybe this changes at different times of the year. Because of the location in central Myrtleford this was not a worry & we had a delicious meal a couple of doors down at Reclaim wine bar & cafe.

The Myrtleford hotel is a lovely hotel with very nice and spotless tidy rooms, comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. A balcony with bistro table and chairs invites for a relaxing rest. The hotel offers delicious food and a nice selection of good wines. A spacious backyard invites for enjoyable wine and dine in the open. The hotel owner as well as the employees are very friendly and helpful.

The outside of the building looked like a tired pub but the accommodation upstairs was superb and recently upgraded with crisp sheets, new carpets, modern new bathroom, fresh paint and art on the walls. We arrived tired after a day of bike riding and were extremely grateful to be upgraded to a larger suite than we had booked.

No issues with the stay, however the meal options in town on a Monday evening were limited. We felt lucky to find dinner at the local Vietnamese restaurant which was full of other hungry travellers and many locals.
