The host was great and very knowledgeable. The room was spotless and well maintained. We liked the traditional feel to the place. The nearby town was lovely

The reviews promised an excellent cooked breakfast and as we were on a long road trip this was the deciding factor to book. However all we got was a grab and go box breakfast left in the room consisting of muesli, processed fruit in a plastic tub and a chocolate bar. Not what we were expecting at all and very disappointing

Beautifully restored period home. Beautiful garden. Great location within easy walking distance of town centre. The room was warm, and the bed was very comfortable with a firm mattress and great pillows. Loved the extra touches like the usb charger, biscuits and port, and the yummy breakfast. Elaine was friendly, funny, and informative; she made us feel very welcome.

The bathroom was quite small. Some tissues would have been nice. Overall, though, it was wonderful. I would definitely book again.

It was a lovely presented old house. Elaine was very helpful with recommendations re local restaurants and visiting the Silo Trail on our next drive! The breakfast was lovely. The house was conveniently located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Parking on-site was appreciated as were the welcoming touches!

The house was quite dark and the ensuite was tiny but it was still great to have one and it didn't spoil our stay.

Very well located close to Beechworth town centre, a short walk away. Quiet leafy street, with no evidence of traffic noise. The room was tastefully and comfortably decorated and furnished, with some nice welcoming touches included. The proprietor provided excellent guidance on local attractions and restaurant options, from which we enjoyed a wonderful evening in an environment we would have otherwise missed. Probably one of the most pleasant overnight encounters we have had the good fortune to come across in years. Our only regret is that we did not plan to stay longer!

The Graces is a quaint period home within a 5 minute walk into the heart of town. Elaine is a wonderful host with a great source of knowledge of the history of Beechworth along with great recommendations of what to see and do. The bed was super comfy, the room has a mini fridge, electric blanket, en suite and a welcoming mini karaffe of port. Breakfast was cooked for us based on our preferences and we got to chat to the other guests.

The Graces is a beautifully kept period home with large comfortable rooms. Our host was amazing, greeting us with a smile and all sorts of treats to welcome us. She was extremely knowledgable about the local area and beyond and offered recommendations which we happily followed. We love Beechworth and accomodation is always at a premium hence we felt very fortunate to book our room here. Our host offered a range of choices for Breakfast, you would certainly not go away hungry. Our choice of scrambled eggs on toast was delicious. The sitting room is very comfortable and welcoming and the garden beautiful and well kept.

The location is delightful and very quiet at night. The breakfast is relatively simple with options for cereals, toast, and/or cooked breakfast. The cooked breakfast was very nice. It is a beautiful, historic house and so a special and unique place to stay. Elaine was a very thoughtful host and is extremely knowledgable about the history of the area.

There was nothing I would say I didn't like, however be aware that the ensuites are quite small (but more than adequate).

Breakfast was excellent and set us up for a great day. It was available in a lovely period dining room or al fresco in the rear patio area. The host was a great communicator and responded promptly to special requests. Parking was available on-site amid a beautiful established garden. Seating was available on the front verandah overlooking the garden. The Graces is within an easy walk of the town, the old gaol and Billson's Brewery.

The Graces is hard to fault. However a comfy chair in the bedroom would have been welcome.

A wonderful breakfast with variety and healthy choices. A host who was experienced in guest needs and a detailed knowledge of the local sites and history of the area. Location was excellent, close to historical sites and in walking distance to local cafes, pubs and restaurants. The added security of off street parking was a bonus.

The heritage home is beautiful, and any renovations/ furnishings completed sympathetically to the age of the building. Location is terrific, so close to the centre of town. Elaine was a delightful host, I appreciated her summary of dinner options in town, and a few things to look at, as the info centre was closed when I arrived.
