Our stay at Cherry Tree House exceeded all our expectations! It is a dream house, in beautiful surroundings, very tastefully decorated. What impressed me was the attention to small detail, very welcome by tired travellers. The breakfast was the best we had in Ireland (we even had smoked salmon) and the view from the breakfast room beyond any description. The owner, Colleen, was extremely welcoming and made us feel quite at home. She was also very helpful with interesting suggestions what to visit in the area. This is a fantastic place, not to be missed. We hope to come again one day for a much longer stay.
This place is so perfect, there was nothing we did not like.

We had a truly wonderful stay here. Colleen is a fantastic host who welcomed us into her amazing home and even arranged it so we could park our motorcycles in the garage overnight. Super comfortable bed in a beautifully presented room with all the amenities we could need. Wonderful cooked breakfast with lots of hot delicious coffee to set us up for the day. We would highly recommend Cherrytree House and look forward to staying here when we visit Ireland again. 10 out of 10.

That the hosts helped us with our luggage and enjoyed the lady's well prepared breakfast.
That Booking.com had overbooked, so one of us had to sleep on the ground floor in a small bedroom, while the other slept in a room on the first floor, because Booking.com had written it wrong. The 2 large rooms that we had ordered, which were on the 1st floor, were good enough, but they should have been on the ground floor, which was mentioned in the order.

Beautiful setting with fabulous views. House decorated with such attention to detail. So many pretty items to admire. The view of the sea was spectacular. Our host Colleen was so helpful and allowed us to drop in our bag early as we were going to a wedding. She gave us the information we needed to get a taxi back later in the evening. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and in the most idilic setting, looking out towards the view. Bedroom was beautifully decorated, with lots of little touches to make it feel homely. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite fabulous. We’d definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Great time from start to finish. Colleen is so welcoming, couldn't have done more for us. The house is lovely and we felt very at home there. Breakfasts were amazing. House is well situated with several restaurants quite near and only 10 miles from the ferry at Greencastle to Magilligan Point.

Our host made us feel so welcome but also provided respectful privacy. Assured us to reach out if we needed anything. I loved the peaceful vibe, everything was clean and our host went out of her way to be helpful. Doing sweet things without being asked. She was so lovely and I hope to stay connected with her.

Lovely views of Lough Foyle and grazing cows from our large, comfortable room. Loved the clawfoot bathtub! Our host, Colleen, made wonderful breakfasts (full Irish with homemade bread). Colleen’s recommendations for sightseeing were much appreciated and enjoyed!

Very comfortable and spotless clean. Colleen was very friendly and attentive. She asked if we needed or wanted anything more at breakfast, and let us sample her freshly made cake. She took time to talk to us about our trip and advised us on the different beaches to visit in the area. The house is very nicely decorated with a very personal touch showing the host personality. I would also highly recommend the Cherry tree for its location.
I have to say there was nothing i could fault in this experience.

From the minute we arrived, we loved everything about our stay. A friendly welcome by Colleen, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The room was beautiful - clean, tidy, and very well presented. En suite bathroom to go with the room, which was also stunning. As we were attending a wedding in the nearby Redcastle Hotel, Colleen and pre phoned taxis to check they were running, which then took the stress and worry off us about getting back to the B&B - those little touches, that she doesn't have to do, really made us feel at home and for that Colleen we thank you. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious home-cooked breakfast served with tea/coffee and orange juice, etc, for us to enjoy. As we are vegetarian, Colleen provided us with veggie sausages to go with our breakfast - which we enjoyed with a stunning Seaview. Having moved to England 8 years ago, the breakfast that was served made me realise how much I missed a good Irish breakfast. If I am every in that part of a country again, then Cherrytree B&B will be the place where we will stay - best B&B we have stayed in to date. Keep up the excellent work - you should be very proud of the service you provide. Chris & Liane.

Exceptional view. A lovely en-suite room where we didn’t hear a thing outside all night. The guest house was spotless and lovingly decorated with ornaments (we especially liked the Moroccan lamp) The breakfast in the conservatory was perfect. Colleen rang the day before and asked if we wanted her to book dinner for us anywhere.
We had nothing to not like. We were unfortunate with the Irish weather that weekend at times but for most of Saturday it was dry and the sun came out on Sunday.
