the staff was helpful and friendly! the breakfast was great we were surprised by the nice options 😀 Our room was in a great location. Nice view of the ocean. The beds were comfortable. The room wasn't too bad. It was clean, but the bathroom was less to be desired. The hot water wasn't that great, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. There was black mold covered up by paint that was seeping through And the heater in the room did not work. My pet peeve is the indoor hot tub and pool. I know it's a family space, but I do believe children. Small children do not belong in the hot tubparent dont controlor survise there kids!. They overcrowd everything and it doesn't allow for the adults that need to use it, use it, and some people were kind of rude and made it hard for us to use itfor most of our stay !. Being inappropriate in the hot tub so there is a downfall with not staying at a hotel that has a spa with a littlemore upscalein that dept.. Everything is more private, but all in all I give it 7 out of 10 stars.

bathroom lots of mold and loose tile! and we couldn't use the hot tub because of all the kids in it! witch is frustrating 😒

The room was clean, quite and comfortable. Pet friendly but I never heard animal noise or saw evidence of animals. The pool and hot tub were refreshing. The bed was comfy, good water pressure. Fridge and microwave. Stunning view. They set up a glass orb hunt on the beach for guests. Breakfast was eggs (best buffet style scrambled eggs I've had), ham, biscuits and gravy, fruit, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea, juice or milk. They offer to let you take a to go plate to your room top. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The sliding glass door was hard to open.

Gal at the front desk was very sweet and very accommodating when we asked for additional blankets and towels. I dont remember her name but I do know she is newly engaged.

The fact that the upstairs guests above us were loud and moving around, jumping and running for most of the first night we were there. We got little to no sleep. Called front. Desk and complained 3 different times, nothing was done about it and the noise continued thru the night.

The room was spacious, clean and relatively comfortable. The lighting was very good and there were multiple outlets all over the room. The breakfast was great, lots of choices of real home cooked food. A short easy walk to the beach, although the last bit is a bit challenging.

The spa in the room wasn't in working order and the blinds next to the spa had a 4" gap at the bottom that allowed anyone outside to see into the bathroom area. We pointed it out to the staff and they had the maintenance guy come by to check it out. They knew about the spa and were unaware of the blind issue. We were offered a discount for the none working spa. The coffee could have been a bit stronger in the breakfast bar, but everything else was superb.

We pulled in after dark and thought the layout was a little weird with the main floor being level 2 and level 1 under ground. We were pleasantly surprised to hear the roaring of the waves from our room and that we had a big balcony. Next morning we found that we could see the ocean from our room and level 1 could walk right out to the beach. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and helpful and numberal.

The place looks rundown from the outside and the pool and laundry building needs some updating. As a bonus it looks like they put all their updates in their fabulous rooms.

Great location. Easy to get to other places in town (centrally located). View of the ocean was spectacular and there was a nice access trail to the beach. Balcony had a small table and chair so I could watch the sunset.

Breakfast was marginal. Because the hotel is located next to the ocean, it appeared weathered.

We go here every year for vacation. We love the oceanfront view from our room, the staff is great, if there is anything that we need it’s taken care of. This place is special to me and my husband. We got married on Gold Beach at the end of the beach. We are already thinking about next year on when to come back and stay.

We absolutely loved the view, location, and bed!! We both had the best sleep we have had all week when we stayed here. The bed was so soft I felt like I was melting into it! Slept like a rock all night. I had no idea that we had an ocean view! Just a very short trail to the beach too, only like 100ft from the hotel! We absolutely loved the view from our balcony, and loved that we had a balcony even on the lowest floor!

The only downside was that the spa tub was broken; the jets wouldn't work. Aside from that, the water faucet on the tub worked so it was fine!

The room was super clean, tastefully updated and very comfy! The bed was Fantastic, like sleeping on a cloud and ample pillows were provided! The room is well laid out for convenience; we loved that the little kitchen area (microwave, coffee maker and fridge) were in the same nook across from the sink and not out in the room. Shower was fantastic. Room was spacious and we loved that our pet friendly room had carpet so it was soft on our bare feet. Parking was easily accessable from our room, as was beach access. The windows and sliding door with balcony were great to have and added to the ambiance. Overall great value for the price. A+ guys, will absolutely stay again and totally recommend!

Honestly have no complaints at all, everything was great :)

The location is excellent. The water views are fantastic. Staff was very pleasant. The room was huge and comfortable. Everything was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good -- hot fresh options, not just pastries in a bag. We did not have a chance to go to the beach or sightsee as we were on a long road trip.

No concerns. I said "not romantic" because everyone has a different idea of what's romantic. I was traveling with my best friend -- romance wasn't a factor lol.
