What a great experience at this quaint Motel 6. It was already dark when we arrived, up a short hill, switchback style. So it wasn't until the morning that I saw how it was nestled in the trees. They have a narrow parking lot, so large vehicles may be instructed to park by the office. Our room was really large for a King option; with the toilet & shower separate from the sink which was separate from the room. Most likely an ADA accessible room, now that I think on it. There was no AC or fan, and being from Texas, we were initially disappointed, but after a couple of hours w the window open, it cooled down and we had an enjoyable sleep. It's the very basics - no frills. Free coffee in the lobby but that's it. The gentleman who checked me in that evening, I hope I remember his name accurately, Shivam, was extremely courteous & polite. Quick & efficient-- must have seen how tired I was Lol And it was very quiet all night. Folks wrapped up & rolled out beginning about 7am and then it was pretty empty, so it's a nice, clean stop for a pitstop. The views of the river & bridge are just outside, oh and the best little cafe is down the road - Indian Creek Cafe. Beautiful creek flowing just outside your table window.

No AC but the cool air outside helped cool our room down. Maybe a ceiling fan could be added? And no breakfast. But I get it. For the price, it was all we needed.

The room was very clean. Signs of "wear and tear" on the floor and walls, but not a problem. Staff was fantastic. Wi-Fi, lighting, TV channels, all great.

Coffee was available in the lobby 0700-1000,, but no pot in room. Dog area was small, needed mowing, and the bucket for poop bags was almost full, with bags on the ground around the bucket (for all 3 days I was there, until I cleaned them up).

The setting is great, set in the trees overlooking the bridge and the deer in the morning were fun to see. Our rooms were all next to each other which was convenient.

I did have to go to the office to get a towel as there were three in our room but there were only 2 towels provided. It wasn't a problem, I just think there should be 4 towels provided normally for a 2 queen bed room.

As the ads say, a clean comfortable room for a reasonable price, well reasonable by today's standards anyway. Nice location on the bluff overlooking the mouth of the Rogue. I stayed on a Friday night and it was quiet all night, very little road noise or noise from other rooms. It's also close to various restaurants in Gold Beach.

There were no plugs next to the bed. I had to plug in my CPAP next to the TV and string the wires/hose across the room, very annoying.

The room was good sized. The place was clean. Bed was comfortable.

The room lacked some regular amenities like shampoo & conditioner. There was no kleenex. The room had no fan or cooling system - only a wall heater. Exiting the parking lot onto the road was frightening. VERY dangerous, no visibility or mirrors to give driver a look at oncoming traffic.

Kathleen at the front desk was very nice. The rooms were clean. The price was right. The locational was safe and beautiful in the morning with the woods, river, and bridge to admire. Kissing Rick coffee is a short drive away if you want a cup of premium coffee.

Being picky here, but maybe upgrade the coffee station with some vanilla creamer option. Trust me, that goes a long way.

I have stayed at this specific Motel 6 many times now, and will keep coming back. Very nice and serene location, and the room is equipped far nicer than most Motel 6's are. Wi-Fi worked well, bed was comfy, lots of room, friendly staff. I look forward to returning, especially because it will mean I am back in Gold Beach again

That I could only stay for 2 nights as I wanted to stay longer! That's because it was so nice! And I love Gold Beach too. This limit was on my end not the properties tho

Parking was not the best.we came back after a wedding, and there was only a small parking spot left, which we barely fit in. There were parking spots taken up by boats on the side, which could have parked better for at least one more vehicle The pillows were flat as well.

Everything. The front desk staff were very accommodating. The property is older but very clean. Even the maids came in and tidied up after the first day. This didn't happen at a Hotel I stayed at recently which is much more upscale. You had to ask to have it done. Here is was a given. The location was perfect as we fished on a friends boat and they stayed in their RV right across the bridge. My hubby and friend were able to ride bikes back and forth. I have nothing but good things to say about all my interactions with all employees from start to finish. Only down side is there are no coffee makers in the room but they do provide coffee free In Lobby from 6am to 10am so it's not horrible. There was a microwave and mini fridge and our room had a bathtub.

Didn't like that there was no coffee maker in room.

Coffee was available at 6:00am. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Had a small refrigerator in the room. Location has a nice view overlooking the bridge over the Rogue river.

The room didn’t have a way to control the temperature. It did have a thermostat but it didn’t appear to do anything. The vinyl tile in the room is coming up along the edges.
