The room was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. My spouse and I use extra pillows when we sleep and there were extras in the closet. Rooms have a metal, electrically operated, fully adjustable external shade/security curtain that is easy to control by a switch in the room. Because the neighborhood was safe and quiet we didn't need it for safety, but it was very good as a privacy screen and morning sunblock. Our stay was during a warm, early September date. We were concerned that the room without air conditioning might be too warm for us, but with the adjustable security shade and open windows it was very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. I speak German reasonably well, but the nice woman at the reception desk spoke English with me. There was suitable off-street parking with lined spaces to optimize spacing. And the entry area was well lit with keyed access to the lobby. Our room was not super spacious, but well laid out with plenty of surfaces for a workspace in case two or three people wanted to set up a laptop simultaneously or get suitcases off of the floor. The internal staircase and room access hallways were open so you could look between the main and upper two floors. I suppose if you want a more reclusive environment this design wouldn't be desirable. But it was a quiet, respectful atmosphere with plenty of opportunity to meet people in the common areas or retreat to your room for privacy. What was the most surprising feature was the outstanding breakfast/selection. There were plenty of tables with crisp tablecloths, a wide variety of hot and cold items to eat and drink, and when any item was running low in the varied buffet it was quickly restocked before anyone needed to wait or do without. The staff also was politely waiting near the dining room if anyone had a question or request.

There were no glaring faults. But because this is a bed and breakfast with a small hotel feel, if you expect to arrive outside of their posted reception hours, you need to contact them in advance for flexibility. You likely won't be able to get into the lobby after hours without a room key.

We found the breakfast excellent with enough variety and the room was clean, pleasant and bright.

Since it was in the heat of summer with temperatures in the 30s, the room was warm as there was no fan or air-conditioning. It was good that we were out the whole day. But even the nights were warm. And there was no ventilation in the reception area either as all the doors are always closed. A cosy sitting area in the reception would be really good for guests who want to stay indoors to read or have a chat instead of going out the whole day.

Everyone has its own taste but I found the bed really comfy, pillows were just my taste (a bit higher than usual and soft), room and bed were clean and it was quite. When I arrived I was really tired so I just slept, so it serve the purpose. I will go again.

Nothing, I would enjoy a sauna after long winter day/trip, but not a minus only recommendation

The hotel is comfortably located close to the station and also the see promenade is just a few minutes walk away. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet and the hotel serves an excellent breakfast buffet that never runs out of food. Dishes are quickly replenished and the choice of items is varied. The check-in process is smooth and the check-out process smoother. We had the perfect stay there!

Many varieties of breakfast served. Lots or breads, eggs, milk, meat, etc. Location was good as it's near to the lake. Receptionists were approachable. Receptionists helped to book cab everyday.

Rest room water leakage (Only in my room. My colleagues' rooms were good). WiFi signal is too low. WhatsApp calls were blocked when connected via WiFi.

The rooms were nicely furnished, modern, clean and comfortable, The shower was just enough ;) We could park next to the hotel. Breakfast was wide selection of foods. And very important was us that we could travel with our pugs!

There was no fridge and air conditioner in our room...

Room was great , was in quadruple room . Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was very good , had everything you could want . Very clean , great location and secure parking for bikes.

The big hill up to the hotel , too steep to cycle but ok to walk without bikes when going out at night .

There are rooms with bunk beds even for adults (this was indicated on Booking.com, but not highlighted at all). Quite expensive even, but this is the Bodensee

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Modern building with great noise isolation - despite the house being full we could not hear any noise from others when being in our room.

There is a big parking lot but just not enough space when the house is fully booked. Fortunately, the street offers some parking for paying. However, due to the prices that is only an option for parking over night.
