Location was great! The beach access is right across the road, it was easy to find, parking was never an issue. The room was clean, the bed was fine, I had plenty of towels and the TV was easy to use and had decent cable. Plenty of outlets. The pool was lovely and usually empty which was nice as I was coming from a beach town already and didn’t necessarily want to haul out to the proper beach every time I wanted a little dip. AC worked great.

Ice machine didn’t work, the AC was very cold but the unit itself was loud. Not sure what time the office closed in the evenings but there were some people being very loud in the pool area well into the night (past 2am, I get that it’s Myrtle Beach but I still need to sleep) and there was no way to contact staff at all.

We absolutely loved the Edgewater Inn in N. Myrtle Beach,SC. The front desk, including the owner,were very nice and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Who can so no to chocolate Kisses? Not me! Even complimented my nail color. Very helpful in recommending places to visit and places to eat. The room was very nice and clean. Even had oven burners and a full size refrigerator. Beds were comfy and so we're the pillows. Bathroom is small, but served the purpose. Quiet and close to everything. Great view of the ocean. Will definitely be back. It's places like this little Inn that make me wanna go on vacation. Thanks for the great weekend. My dogs enjoyed their stay too

Owner and housekeeping were very responsive. First morning I noticed my in-room coffee maker (BTW full-size...Nice) didn't work. They offered to drop everything and run to the store to buy a new one. Wow! Also let me keep a broom and dustpan in the room during my stay to sweep up the daily beach sand! Shower stall was newly renovated. Fridge had a separate freezer which many do not.

Only thing I didn't like was there were no hangers for clothes. I went out and bought some and then left them for the next person. Another wall outlet or expander would be nice since the only outlets were on the bed lamp and in the bath.

The room had all you would need. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had electric burners, dishes, a microwave and full sized refrigerator. The bathroom had a walk in shower.

The way Booking.com took my money and held it in an account and would not release it to the owner. I had made a mistake on the dates and had to change it on short notice. They would not release the money until the original book date.

Location was 1 minute walk to the beach, the place was SPOTLESS, which is rare for Myrtle Beach, and the bed was comfortable; normally in hotels I toss and turn to get to sleep but I slept like a baby both nights. No coffee in the rooms, but could not complain. Will definitely make this my go-to stay for North Myrtle Beach.

No coffee in the room, but Nescafé instant coffee at Food Lion down the block is $1 for a pack of ten; just bring a mug and heat the water in the microwave and you’re all set.

The owner SUPER SUPER NICE ONE OF THE NICEST MAN I HAVE EVER MET HE MADE ME FEEL SO COMFORTABLE ASCA FEMALE SOLO TRAVELER I HAD ROOM 14 over looking the POOL AND STREET WITH VERY NICE NEIGHBORS ACROSS. Very clean ROOM BED GREAT TV ACTUALLY WORKED AND WATER HOT NICE CHAIRS TO SIT IN OVERALL GREAT PLACE TO STAY

They are PET FRIENDLY I AM SCARED OF ANY KIND OF ANIMAL BUT THE 2 guys in room 15 had a BEAUTIFUL DOG AND THEY ASSURED ME HE WAS FRIENDLY AND HE WAS THE GUYS WAS ALSO NICE.

The room was very clean and fresh. There was a balcony that had a view of the ocean. The ocean was across the street with a nice public access walkway. The staff was friendly and had the easiest check in I've done in years! Check out was just as simple. The room had a full size fridge, kitchenette, microwave, coffee maker and a little table and desk. WiFi was good as well. We were very pleased with our stay.

No complaints!

The family friendly atmosphere. Very close to the beach and shops. Had a washer and dryer on the first floor. The rooms and beds were very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly hotel. I had a GSD and a small terrier that were relaxed and had plenty of room to walk around.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Location for things to do plus the beach proximity is superb. Plenty of fantastic restaurants eateries and live shows or you can chill the beach. This beach is less busy than Myrtle. Room was very well cleaned and stocked kitchen !!! Cooktop and 10cuft fridge

Only thing this lacks is the view from rooms and the facilities are dated but have been updated and redone. Beds were a tad soft and spongy

I checked ratings and comments before booking. This is an older property, so it's important to keep that in mind. You won't get modern amenities and the property lacks much that is "modern", truly. But it's clean, comfortable, and convenient. I'll absolutely stay here again!
