The resort's location was perfect to experience "la zona cafetera" - the mountainous coffee growing region in Colombia. We had a room with a balcony; the views were spectacular and tranquil. The resort also offers "glamping" (glamorous camping) - the staff showed us these accomodations and we will definately return to enjoy those facilities. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The room was comfortable and modern, with an excellent bathroom and integral Turkish sauna. The staff was marvelous - friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to talk with. They were eager to tell us the story of the resort, with it's beginnings as a coffee plantation to its future plans to expand facilities. Make sure you take the on-site coffee tour, which includes a great presentation on the full cycle from growing to marketing and tasting of coffee grown at the resort's property. Finally, the resort's restaurant was excellent - and serves probably the best coffee I've tasted. We will be returning guests for sure.

Since it is a rural and agricultural area within the tropical zone, expect biting insects. Just make sure you use insect repellent and dress appropriately. The resort's front office graciously provided us with repellent at check-in.

An unforgettable stay at Atardeceres del Café! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was huge, beautifully designed, and opened up to a breathtaking view of the mountains and coffee landscape. Waking up to that scenery felt like a dream. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing afternoons, with the warm water and stunning surroundings making it hard to leave. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. I treated myself to a spa session, which was deeply rejuvenating and exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the treatment left me feeling completely renewed. Finally, the staff were incredibly attentive, always warm and welcoming, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Their hospitality truly made the experience memorable. I can’t recommend Atardeceres del Café enough. Whether you want relaxation, romance, or just to soak in the beauty of the Coffee Region, this place delivers it all.

Really enjoyed my stay at Atardeceres del Cafe. It's a gorgeous setting, and close to Manizales. No special 4 wheel drive vehicle is necessary to get there -- I took a taxi & had no problems at all. The hotel will also arrange transportation to get you back to Manizales. The staff is exceptionally helpful, friendly & professional. The gardens and sitting places are very relaxing -- it's the perfect place to relax and read a good book. Enjoyed the restaurant too. They serve the coffee they grow and roast right there on the property (and it's delicious). It's probably best to bring bug spray and a sweater -- there are a few mosquitos, & the temperature can change quickly. Nothing extreme, but having bug spray & a sweater can come in handy. The hotel sent a warm note prior to my arrival reminding me of things to bring for the mountains -- I found this helpful.

This was absolutely incredible, we stayed in one of the glamping rooms, and it was the most luxurious stays I've ever had. Everything is stunning and well designed with a modern touch, the views are spectacular. Food is very nice, and service is quick, everything was brought to the room promptly when we asked for it. The hotel area with restaurant and pool was new, but equally as beautiful, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The road leading up to the hotel/glamping was a bit difficult for us, we're not from around here so the dirt track style roads aren't easy and its a very steep ascent, with cars going both ways.

Everything in this location is magic, the view is stunning, the room is open on the mountain and waking up at the view of the mountains ( or the clouds) is just magic. Everything in this location is worth the trip. It is so relaxing to be on top of the mountains with such view and amenities. I was sad to leave but all good things have an end. They do a tour of the coffee plantation and it is very interesting to learn about the process.

One thing is the place is remote, planning transport from and to this place if you don’t have a car can be challenging as taxis in the city don’t necessarily know this place.

This place is amazing, the location is incredible. A very quite place surrounded by nature. It was a nice experience to wake up in the morning with such a beautiful view with the sound of nature all around you. They thought of everything just to make our stay so comfortable as possible. The service was very good and very friendly. We enjoyed our guiding tour through the coffee farm. We hope one day we can return to this place.

Came here for our honeymoon and we were beyond pleased. The pictures do not do it justice, the villa sits on top of a mountain that is filled with rows of coffee plants. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning. The breakfast was great and of course the coffee was good as the property is on a coffee farm. The staff was extremely friendly and was very helpful and attentive to us. We will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely beautiful location on a coffee farm. Staff were so lovely and helpful with organising everything, especially Harold, Stefany, Eliana and don Jorge. The property is really well maintained in a traditional style but is comfortable and so peaceful with beautiful food and coffee (of course). Highly recommend and thank you for a wonderful experience.

We liked it so much that we didn't leave the accommodation during our short stay. We stayed in the glamping and everything was perfect. It's huge, it was spotless and you have everything you need. They serve you breakfast right there and it is very complete. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. The staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Everything exceeded our expectations. We did not leave our paradise for the duration of our stay. We were surprised by the stylish, generous architecture, the amazing views, the jacuzzi, the delicious breakfast and also the unique idea to provide the „raw“ food for dinner to bbq it in the nicely equipped outdoor kitchen. The sunset 🌅 was spectacular.

The wine 🍷 in the wine refrigerator did not fit to the luxurious surroundings. We would have liked to spend more money for an exquisite wine selection.
