Every aspect of Villas Carrizalillo WOWED us. The friendliness of staff and their helpful awesome recommendations, the detail of cleanliness everywhere, the lovely breeze keeping us cool and refreshed, the second to none views, the scrumptious restaurant food, the easy walks here and there, the lovely quiet and positive vibe of the other guests, the ease to and from the airport, the sense of being looked after and left alone created a wonderful balance. We really loved our stay -- a favorite, to date, of all the places we've stayed over the years. We'll be back, next time bringing friends to share the beauty of this gem of a place. We also appreciated the option of swimming in the very clean accessible pool.

We paid a lot of money (30,000 pesos for 4 nights) for a suite with a view. The view was incredible and the suite was clean and lovely.

I thought the staff could have been more welcoming and could have arranged a bottle of wine or cocktail on entry given the price. Also breakfast was not included which was a huge drag given the price we paid. The rooms had coffee but not tea. All relatively minor points but it did take away from the experience. Internet was patchy at times (it didn’t work for 7 hours on one day). The hotel rests on its laurels so to speak as it knows the views are amazing.

Beautiful facility. Just 15 years old. Efficient layout of the whole place. Gorgeously landscaped and meticulously maintained. Spacious villa! Extraordinarily comfortable beds. Access to one of the best swimming beaches nearby (protected from rips) and entertaining to watch the novice surfers and cheer them on. Espadin, the on-site restaurant provided delicious food served by a warm and friendly staff. Make a reservation! They fill up fast. We needed extra support arriving and leaving as our transportation didn’t line up with check in and check out times - the desk was very hospitable, providing towels, shower, changing room before and after check in, and access to the beach before check in.

Water pressure to our unit was very weak, and the toilet needed a bit of an overhaul. Management was prompt and responsive. There were ample facilities nearby so it was not a problem, just not perfect.

I loved the private access to the cove and how thoughtful the outdoors were tied into the indoors. It was like staying in paradise. The convenience of the delicious restaurant upstairs made this a true haven. Comfortable beds, AC, patios, views, beautiful gardens, the pool, hammocks, and kind staff were all exceptional! I would love to return and bring my family in the future.

It was expensive and I would have not been able to afford it if I wasn't splitting the costs with my group of friends. The locals also mentioned that it was too expensive and we could have found better pricing.

The view of the bay and beach from the cliff top was spectacular. the facility is older but very clean and well taken care of. Quiet and relaxing.

the property's neighborhood isn't great, there is nothing around it but sand road and fenced off vacant properties. wasn't comfortable walking it at night, always took a taxi. The pool wasn't used by anyone, it is in a bad spot and there are no loungers to sit around. The beach was close so spent our time there.

Lovely property perched on cliffs overlooking Playa Carrizalillo. Apart from the sounds of the ocean, very quiet spot. Nice pool and an area with lounge chairs and hammocks to sit out and admire the ocean view and the spectacular sunsets . Restaurant on the property is very good!

Quite difficult to find property if you have never been there before. Lots of steps to get down to the beach. Lack of hot water in our room!

I was more than pleased with the facilities and location of my room. I enjoyed how close it was to the beach and my view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. The room was very clean and comfortable and I really enjoyed my stay. I would highly recommend these accommodations to my friends, and I would most definitely stay there again in the future.

The only thing that I would say was uncomfortable was that there was a lizard in my room that made my partner feel a little uncomfortable during the nighttime.

Villa was also good overall, nice to have a kitchen with a kid. Good atmosphere, great views. Best beach. Great common terrace, ok swimming pool too.

We were very disturbed by traffic in the morning as we had a room just next to the parking lot where trucks came every morning and made noise around 6.30. Also bad smell from sewers in the bathroom was very unpleasant. Bathroom could use a little maintenance.

We stayed for a week in a two person villa and loved every minute of it. The rooms are well appointed and furnished. The views are sublime with private access to Playa Carrizalillo. Staff are amazing (my wife lost her phone in a taxi and they moved heaven and earth to get it back for her successfully). They also allowed us to check in early which was a lovely gesture as we were tired after our flight. The best thing about this accommodation is Espadin, the restaurant attached to it. The food is sublime, cocktails reasonably priced and delicious and again the view is breathtaking.

Everything about the Villas were exceptional. We had a balcony looking onto the playa and spent many hours enjoying the morning view, sunset and the night skies. The sound of the ocean was wonderful morning, noon and night.

The only drawback to our stay was the lack of hot water, really it was the lack of even warm water for a shower.
