Breakfast can be better. Location wise a little far from the station but good close to the sea. Super market and shopping mall are close by.

A standard hotel, very satisfactory for western travellers. Ask for a non smoking room. Further from the station than advertised (say 1.2km) such that walking requires a back pack. Helpful staff.

Spacious, clean room with firm, comfortable bed. My room, on the 6th floor, faced out to the Sea of Japan. A short walk from the hotel, affords you some great, up-close shots. Japanese and Western food available for simple breakfast. Staff, very helpful. If you want, separate communal hot baths are available. And a coin laundry will require key access into the spa bath rooms to use. Also, a small supermarket to hotel's right and a Gusto family restaurant acriss the road, left.

Am not a fan of the high step-up into the bathroom - architectural, I understand that. But if you're a night visitor - forewarned. The distance from station is a 12-15mins walk, not recommended for luggage on wheels. Take a taxi, not much to look at on the way, a few small izakayas - if they're open.

The breakfast was tasty and the view was beautiful.

Central location and close to coast so sunset viewpoints on the beach were spectacular

Customer service was good and the front desk staff was helpful. Consider using google translate if you need to communicate with the staff. I also was able to ask the front desk to call a taxi for me so that was also helpful.

It’s about 1km away from Itoigawa station, so not the most convenient. Rooms are very outdated but suffice. Showers have a little bit of mold too. Breakfast was below average for Japanese hotel standards, but it was enough to fill me up, especially because they had nattily and I love natto. If you have luggage, definitely take a taxi to and back from the station. You can also ask the front desk staff to call the local taxi company to pick you up and the taxi will come in about 5 mins. FYI I saw reviews about there not being enough outlets near the beds, but there were two extras behind one of the signs on the desk.

Close to the interstate and a convenience store, easy check-in and friendly staff. Nice view of the ocean.

Very outdated and difficult to find outlets for charging devices. There were none by the beds. In desperate need of updating.

The place smelt very musty, almost as if it had not been cleaned for a long time.
