Small room but with spacious window views and balcony. Large bathroom. Located a quick walk from the Bedford Ave L train so the city is at your feet quite quickly. I used to live in this neighborhood so i was curious to stay at one of the new upscale hotels that sprung up. Morning view of Manhattan and the Empire State Building was excellent.

The Arlo is also a destination for nightlife (which they are upfront about in their marketing) and I happened to be there on a Friday night when the elevators were a bit jammed with folks heading up to the Water Tower bar. Hallways could be a bit noisy too (but I slept through the night with earplugs). They also provide a white noise machine next to the bed so they might be aware of the noise issue.

Went for a birthday staycation. Had a wonderful time and would totally go back. They were really accommodating and upgraded us to a nicer room with balcony and city view for my birthday, and sent us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. Clean swimming pool with a beautiful city view. Great service at the rooftop bar. We were able to work from the cafe downstairs the next day and nobody rushed us. Great location with access to amazing bars, bakeries, restaurants, shops and vintage stores, workout studios, etc.

Room was an ok size for New York, really comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Staff were really friendly and the hotel was in a great position to explore Brooklyn/Williamsburg. Lots of great places to eat and drink close by. Views from the balcony over Manhattan were amazing!

Be prepared for Williamsburg, it is not a quiet place of a night. The area has a party vibe especially at the weekends. We knew this going into our stay and thankfully the noise wasnt all night but it was ongoing late a night. Especially if there is a party on the roof of an evening. I think the rooms could benefit with improved double glazing/insulation. The balcony doors let in quite a bit of noise.

I loved the location and I drove from out east and was able to find parking for the night with no problem! I was worried most about parking but it was literally perfect. We loved the room and the balcony view, shower was great the water was hot with good water pressure ! I can’t wait to book here again

I have zero complaints. Staff was efficient and helpful, room and view was beautiful. The bar/dining area was great , easy check in and out. My new favorite hotel to stay at.

Staff - they knew how to take care of guest From the lobby to the pool host / staff & the elevator guy and the valley - it was a while where we didn’t feel this way! ( we even got our Champaign 20m late but then they gave us extra 30m with the beds ) & its important how to be able to handle when a problem pops up. Great music vibe - clean room great job will come back

Shower at the pool didn’t work so lot of people went in the pool without tacking a shower so we didn’t want to go into the water. >>>>> The guest can’t book a bed slot on the day of departure So if you come in on a Friday evening & leaving on the sunday You can use the pool but not able to get a bed am even those technically the check out is at 10/11am So it make sense to be able to get the beds for am & not pm Need more towels in the rooms at least to be able to take two showers - one towel person is nor enough

Beautiful building and facilities, the rooms, the restaurant, the rooftop, the water tank bar was amazing and great deejay!

Housekeeping is a let down to the whole service. Everyone else in the other departments are so attentive and professional, whilst our room was never cleaned properly, we had to constantly request for refills of coffee, shower gel, etc. our duvet cover was ripped which is not to 5* standards of course. Also, you get complimentary water only on the first day, which it makes no sense as you should get it daily.

I loved the room, but the room that was in the description wasn't the room I got. I got my city view which I loved but the room I got was a little more basic than I wanted. The breakfast was amazing 👏🏾 🤩 I'll be coming back just for breakfast. Absolutely add it to your room it's so worth it.

The shower was a little annoying the glass door wasn't keeping water in the shower. But other than that I love this hotel I will absolutely be back.

Great location, lovely welcoming staff on the desk particularly Maya Nice views of the city from our room - request a High floor when booking

Initially we were put in a room on a floor where they were doing construction/renovations There was a builder sawing and drilling on the balcony next door We asked to be moved and they graciously did so, just not sure why anyone would be allocated a room next to all that noise & building work going on Pool/rooftop wasn’t open even though it was beautiful weather

The view is espetacular, and location is perfect. The food at the restaurant and the pools are the highlight of the hotel for sure. You don't need to wait in lines to access the Water Tower bar and the pool bar view is breathtaking!

The waiting time for the elevators is terrible. During the weekend or at night starting from Thursday the traffic to the rooftop bars area increases a lot, affecting the room area elevator traffic as well. The elevators are so slow and so busy, that some days I had to wait for almost 20 minutes to go back to my room from the ground floor. Implementing an elevator for guest only in the room area might help mitigate this issue.

We had a great view and were able to see the Manhattan skyline. The room was comfortable and it had everything we needed. The water tower was lovely as well. We went up to get a quick drink and take in the views. It was raining so we didn't get to stay as long as we would have wanted to. Casey was a fantastic bartender who took care of us. The drinks that were made were delicious.
