This was a great apartment in Izmir. The host was wonderful and very responsive to every question. The apartment had everything we needed - we didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed to have everything one would need to prepare a simple meal. There were a few take away restaurants nearby, but most of the shops and restaurants were either a bit of a walk or transit away (which we didn’t mind). There was a great little bakery very close where we bought breakfast every day. The bed was not extremely comfortable, but it was fine for a rental apartment. Overall, we would definitely recommend this apartment!

Super responsive host: I called the owner with only 5 minutes' notice, and they were there within minutes to open the door and explain everything about the apartment. Helpful and accommodating: The owner even loaned me a significant amount of Turkish Lira, which I was able to return at checkout. It was a lifesaver! Spacious and comfortable: The apartment was plenty big for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children). Clean and well-maintained: The apartment was clean and had good air conditioning, making for a comfortable stay.

Quirky lighting: The lighting setup was a bit unusual, with some room switches located outside the room. This requires getting used to. Kitchen essentials: A couple of kitchen towels would have been a welcome addition. Location: Be aware that the apartment is somewhat distant from the city's main attractions and restaurants.

Clean, quiet neighborhood, clean and large apartment, kitchen with basic cooking equipment, though we didn't use it. The apartment is too dark in the evening ，especially in kitchen area，it may can be solved in the future ．There is a very good bakery just down the alley. The landlord was very helpful，providing us lots information and help to solve some my problems when I purchased museum pass on line

Location is close enough to reach sights on foot, free on street parking, spacious apartment, very good facilities, comfy beds, very polite and helpful staff, recommended to all travelling to Izmir

Everything was clean, accurate. We loved that on kitchen there were all conditions for living. The location was good. It was about 15 minutes to train station. Also, there was a large and popular park, where you can walk.

There was no any problem, everything was good. Only in first day, the lock of wc door was broken, but personal was very helpful, they immediately came and fixed it.

DEKA are perfectly situated by the beatiful Kulturpark including an open air cafe, the fair, and close to all sights (district with plenty of restaurants, cafes, museums, galleries, shopping malls in Alsancak by the Kordon, a street and promenade. The flat is also close to the ancient city of Agora (Smyrna Agora Ancient City), the bazaars Kemeralti, the historical Kızlarağası Han for (antiquities), and the famous clock tower. A quiet place with very good internet connection), super markets (Migros, Shok), pharmacies, bus and trains in walking distance or just around the corner

Location was great. Street access was very narrow, but that was the same for everywhere else. They have an adorable cat greeting guests by the door, and another stray without a leg who is full of love. Host was also very friendly and gave great advice as to where the best eats are in town. Didn't trouble us with any unnecessary check-ins.

The small kitchen appliances were not clean. The water boiler had food/mold/something flaking off inside that was impossible to clean, some cups were not washed. The shower drain was clogged, so we had to bear with mini floods during our washes.

It was absolutely perfect. I am traveling with my mother, and it was our first time ever visiting Türkiye. The location of the apartment is so peaceful, and it is very conveniently located right next to a beautiful park. We were able to walk in the park each time we wanted to visit the fun and busy streets of Alsancak. The apartment is also a very quick walk away from the main train stations. In regards to the apartment itself, it was incredibly clean and nicely decorated. It got lots of sunlight, and it had every amenity we needed during our stay. Yet, the very best part about our stay was our host: Çagri. He was the kindest, most considerate, and hospitable host we have ever come across. We do not speak Turkish, and he helped communicate for us on multiple occasions. For instance, when we told him the tour we scheduled would not pick us up at the hotel, Çagri called the tour company on our behalf and insisted that they pick us up, too. Furthermore, when we told him that we needed to get to Selçuk by train, and that we found the Hilal train station confusing, he walked with us to the station. He really went above and beyond. He was always willing to answer our questions related to Izmir travel, and he always greeted us with a friendly smile. Thank you, Çagri, for making our visit to Izmir so special! It is definitely our favorite spot in Türkiye, and we cannot wait to return to your family’s apartment/hotel!
