We had a wonderful stay at Frii Bali Echo Beach – a great budget-friendly hotel with the perfect location in Canggu. As a hotel front desk supervisor myself back in Norway, I truly appreciate good service – and I have to say, we’ve never met a hotel crew as genuinely kind and welcoming as the team here. A special shout-out to Dean – thank you for making our stay extra special! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and having direct access to the walk-in pool felt like pure luxury. Food and drinks at the hotel were also great. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Canggu, and we would love to come back again!

We were overall very happy with our stay, and these are just small points for improvement rather than real complaints. We didn’t have hot water in the shower during our stay, and there were quite a few insects in the room, especially in the bathroom. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but something to be aware of. Also, since our room was just a couple of meters from the pool, we noticed that the pool hours weren’t always respected by other guests. Some were swimming and making noise very late at night or very early in the morning, and the sound insulation isn’t the best – but it was still manageable for us. These were minor things, and they didn’t take away from the overall positive experience. We truly enjoyed our time at Frii and would still love to come back!

Great location on the Main Street with ease of walking distance to restaurants, shops or the beach, fabulous staff who checked us in and the greeter at the front of the property. Helped with luggage to the room - always a friendly chat. Would highly recommend

The property was very big. With pools, a rooftop bar and a restaurant and a small coffee shop near the entrance. Has a lift, an amazing view from the balcony. Room was enough for two people. Hot and cold water was available, got cable tv and had a great wifi connection. Mirror was a bit rusty, maybe can change it sometime soon. But it didn’t impact my stay.

I liked how central the hotel was, close to the shops, supermarkets, restaurants and the beach. Inside it is easy to find your way, the staff are really friendly and always happy to help. Lots of seating areas for when you are waiting. I’ve stayed there twice and been really happy with my stay :)

Pool access is great. Staff are very friendly. Location is great.

The beds very uncomfortable, 2 beds pushed together needs a single mattress over the top. Hurt my back to sleep. It’s quite noisy if the people next door or above are noisy. I could hear the bloke snoring in room next door to me. No room service menu in room. Ordered at front but they forgot once. No big deal but if I could have ordered from room wouldn’t have happened.

The hotel is located close to the beach, nice restaurants, and shops. My room was easy to navigate from and to Lobby, sea view from my room is great. Having delicious breakfast on the rooftop is great.

The bathroom has limited space to move around, it would be nice if they have the sliding door instead for the bathroom.

Great location, good underground parking, staff are very friendly and professional. Upper level has small ocean view.

Bed frame was old as was the mattress but still okish. Staying on level 3 you have a bit of an ocean view but you’re under the restaurant and can hear things being wheeled around and kids running about early in the morning which was pretty annoying

I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that came with the room. While only staying for 2 nights the property was in a great location with lots of amenities nearby. Overall it was a good spot for the price and would stay again.

Transport options were less than ideal because of the road associated with the building. However, that is the only real complaint.

Stylish room with modern fittings and a clean, comfortable bed. Room service always quick. Excellent location, walkable distance from the beach and the all the many restaurants and features of Canggu. Close to the road, but no traffic noise except when an antisocial person revs their motorbike engine. The staff were friendly, competent, and responsive to all my requests. Pleasant poolside area. The upstairs Seaduction restaurant has tasty, great value meals - and the staff made me a delicious custom smoothis following my ingredient list. The higher floors have beautiful views of Canggu and the ocean at sunset.

You get full hotel service but for the price, the room is too small. The tile groutings in my shower were moldy - however friends in different rooms said they did not have this issue. The balcony door has no soundproofing, and as I am a late sleeper I was often woken up by noisy groups of people gathering outside; probably less of an issue at higher floors.
