The location was beautiful. What a wonderful view of the woods from a high spot. Our room was comfortable and having access to the kitchen on our floor and also on the main level worked well for us. Parking was so easy. I appreciated the information on the bulletin board and the Welcome sign. Breakfast was good and the food not feeling prepacked.

For some reason putting the exact address in our google maps didn't work but what did work was putting the name of the lodge in. So it took a few tries to get there the first time.

The place was very confortable and cozy. We felt at home and could relax a lot. We love that the place is surrounded of nature and far from the city. The staff was so kind and helpful.

We couldn't drink the water because it had a really strong odor.

Wonderful lodge general area for relaxing and eating. Provided opportunity to meet other interesting guests. Alternatively provided private time to relax if that is preferred.

great rustic room, beautiful quiet area. hosts we so sweet. we loved the little kitchen dining area. it was nice to get take out and not have to eat in our room

owners have NO control over the mosquitoes!!! 😀 how nice they supplied bug repellent. we had 0 complaints

Missing bathroom exaust fan; A place like this one will deserve a better breakfast with some fresh local cake instead of an "hamton inn" breakfast

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even though we never saw the hosts, the communication was excellent and we were happy with everything about our stay.

The bed was comfortable and having kitchen facilities available was a huge plus.

The water from the bathroom sink stunk like sulfur and tasted terrible! Happily, the shower didn't smell.

Location and Lodge

The last time products were available to make a hot breakfast. Was told they haven't done that since COVID. Also, I did not realize upstairs had outside stairs only.

they provided a very generous breakfast but we had to make it ourselves, which was not a problem since we expected that. Good locations nearby for viewing the Northern Lights. Hosts were very pleasant. The common area was comfortable to hang out in and visit with other guests. The common kitchen was outfitted well with cooking utensils, etc. so it weas easy to prepare lunch and dinner.

The bed was not very comfortable. The room was quite small. It was not easy to see the Northern Lights right from the property itself but there were several viewing areas within 10 minutes so you definitely need a car.
