Clean and comfortable rooms. Most staff are very nice. Great location for visiting cute shops on Second Street and restaurants in Downtown. (We got most meals and groceries through Uber Eats and never had an issue delivering to the hotel either.)

Airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel may not be available, especially for flights arriving quite late at night. The hotel would not call or pay for an alternative ride, despite the complimentary shuttle being listed as included. Also for shuttle going to the airport, please make sure to book with the front desk beforehand. Additionally, one particular staff is extremely rude. (I heard her telling her colleagues that she doesn’t care about helping guests.) However, she is definitely not a reflection of the entire staff at the hotel. All the other staff have been very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very helpful and approachable. The hotel is nicely placed opposite the river and within walking distance to activities in town. (I recommend the Morris Thompson Cultural Cultural and Visitors Centre.) I was particularly impressed by the ease of obtaining complimentary transport for tours and airport transfers. We enjoyed the convenience and friendliness of the restaurant/bar next door. I would happily return.

Availability of more breakfast facilities would be appreciated

Room and bed/pillows were comfortable. Bathroom had walk-in shower which I like better than a tub/shower. View (West side) was very nice from the 5th floor (floors 3 & 4 are good, too but below that views are obstructed by a building). Not sure what the views to the East are like). Greatest assets of this property are location (easy to walk to points of interest/downtown area) and free shuttle (to airport, train station). BBQ restaurant (and other restaurants) nearby or within easy walking distance.

A room on the 2nd floor (West side) or below does not have a good or obstructed view (had to ask to be put on 5th floor but they do not seem to like or be able to do that). Some reception staff was quite snippy which was not appreciated. Property does not offer ANY breakfast except coffee/hot water in the lobby. Hotel's parking area fills up fast - may not have parking there. Hotel had to use Spring Hill Hotel's shuttle service due to lack of a driver and that hotel did not provide a shuttle from the airport one time.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. The double queen room has a nice table and 4 chairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are small and dated, but functional. We missed the cleaning day and had to ask for the garbage to be removed, which was done quickly. No breakfast, but good coffee in the lobby. Great location downtown, walking distance to shops and restaurants. River views. Quiet.

Staff was friendly, room was nice and clean, and included a minifridge, microwave and coffee maker. In addition coffee and hot water were available at lobby at all times. The location is in walking distance to the river, and to quite a few restaurants in the historic down town.

Parking was very short, and the complementary overflow parking lot was a few min walk - which was a slight inconvenience.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds with nice and dark curtains made for a restful stay during the long daylight hours of Alaska. The entire staff was very nice no matter the time and the place looked immaculate at all times. It was refreshing to have a window to smell the clean Alaskan air and not be in a stuffy room.

The pillows were flat and the wifi was slow and it kept disconnecting.

Reception staff friendly, responsible, professional and reliable. Room: functional, decent size room, soft beds, noisy HVAC, not cleaned daily, clean. Location: hotel is beside Chena river walkway, short walk to town. Town center no supermarket. Hotel left, right, behind has BBQ restaurant, cafe, Thai restaurant respectively. Free shuttle from airport, to call hotel after collecting luggage. Free shuttle to train depot - be sure to let reception know at checkin time.

Noisy HVAC.

Very good shuttle service picked up from train, took us to an activity during our stay and to the airport to depart. Room had a window A/C, not a given in Alaska. Comfortable room, except for too soft mattress.

Mattress was very very soft -- worse than any other hotel I have stayed in.

Would highly recommend. Clean, quiet, updated, comfortable rooms. Beautiful location on riverfront downtown just steps from shopping, entertainment, and dining. Staff very friendly, accommodating, and professional. Set up a complimentary ride after our stay and gave us a great room with sunset views.

Can't think of anything we didn't like!

The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. They had the temperature just right to for a comfortable stay. Location was great, and the reception staff were incredibly helpful and fun! Would definitely recommend and stay again :-)

Would be great to get some on-site breakfast, with only coffee and snacks available.
