Breakfast was fine, some kind of protein would have been nice. The owner was there when it first opened but did not see her after that. There were a lot of older people that needed assistance making waffles etc.

The breakfast variety was a bit skimpy but appreciated having the meal available. The people that were staying at the place were very nice. The building is old and it shows but was very clean. It would have been great to know there was a fan in the closet as we opened the window and cracked the room door for a breeze. A ceiling fan would have gone a long way. Lots of stairs so if you do not have the health, make sure you ask if there is a ground floor room.

This was a great property, about 10mins from the downtown Fairbanks. Ample parking, clean rooms and the best part was a jacuzzi in the bathroom. It was heavenly for us as we had driven from Anchorage and had a long day. The reception was nice enough to leave us instructions taped to the door for easy visibility. There is a kitchen that you can access for any cutlery needs and heating needs.We could not have the breakfast but it was included in our stay.

The room is on the smaller side and the mini fridge is in the bathroom. Not sure if there is any specific reason for this.

Had a wonderful stay at 7 Gables. Close to the airport, so arriving was a snap. Not to far of a drive to the other side of town which made getting around simple and very convenient. Free and fast wi-fi, very clean rooms, and wonderful personalities made the stay spectacular. Especially the muffins for breakfast, I think they were ginger snap muffins or molasses muffins, SO tasty!

The only thing that could have been a bit better, or rather explained a little better, was were breakfast was held. I was a little confused the first morning and ended up making breakfast for myself using the owners personal products, only to find out after and to discover where breakfast actually was. Of course, when I first arrived, my mental state was jumbled a good deal from having been isolated for nearly 6 months, so everything was a bit hectic and I may have misunderstood or not heard at all where breakfast was.

Things were a bit chaotic when I checked in and I never understood that there was a breakfast available on a different floor, so I cannot comment on the breakfast. Location was pretty good for what I needed. Owner/manager was very kind but when the phone was constantly ringing when people were trying to check in, things got a bit chaotic. If I visit Fairbanks again, I would probably try to stay here.

Stairs. I was fine with them but sister had a hard time and there was construction going on in the drive so lots of dirt to walk through. Ok with me it's alaska but again made it a little tough on sisters walking

The hostess is an adorable lady. She makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast served everyday is amazing. It's not generic american breakfast. You will find freshly baked dishes everyday. Location is very good and it is well connected. Highly recommend

We liked everything about this place

The owner is lovely. We stayed in the studio one night and a single room the other night. Both rooms had everything we needed. Wifi was very good. The room in the main house was nicer and the main house itself was very cozy. Very close to the airport.

The studio was a bit rundown. You definitely need a car.

I like the place, the location is very convenient and homey feeling. Staff are very considerate and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and clean. I have stayed here multiple times and its a 8/10 for me.

They have a lot of occupants and the parking is not enough. The place is clean but somedays cleaners miss little things like a vape i found under the bed which management gets right to it. Some rooms are not arranged well like TV is on the left wall but the bed is facing 90degrees from the TV, or one other room has a fancy poles which was in the way when watching TV. But not really a big thing to some people.

A lovely old house, with a very spacious and comfortable living room area. A great place to relax and read or meet other guests and chat. Hosts were generous with things like including coffee and tea at no charge. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever had. Real cloth tablecloths and napkins. Instead of the same tired scrambled eggs and breakfast meats, they offer a breakfast omelette tart sort of confection, with a mixed fruit crumble.

Breakfast was lovely. Good variety and all sampled were excellent. My husband was happy too (and he's hard to please).

Parking lots were very muddy, but that's because Fairbanks was having so much rain (and had been for days). Sure would be better if they were graveled or asphalted.
