These are converted apartments. Our room had a large living room (with fold-out couch), small dining room, small galley kitchen, one bedroom with two full-size beds, and a bathroom. Furnishings were good. Kitchen was adequately stocked with dinnerware, etc. The location is on the north side of town, very close to numerous restaurants and shopping. The university is close as well. The property has its own outdoor recreation facilities, and it is also adjacent to a larger park, with opportunities for animal and aurora watching.

Two full-size beds barely fit in the bedroom, with both pushed up against a wall. So putting two people in each bed might be a problem for the people against the walls. (I assume you can get the same layout with a one larger bed.) No dishwasher, but with only a few dishes supplied, you just wash them quickly after using them.

It was in a safe and quiet area. The living room and kitchen facilities were very nice.

Nothing, really. I was lucky that I had requested a first-floor room early on. There are three floors with no elevator. Due to health conditions, I would've had a difficult time climbing the stairs. So, I would recommend anyone in the same situation to request a first-floor room at booking.

The "room" was quite large apartment, with a kitchen, dining table and sofas. Not new but worked well. The area was peaceful and it was possible to walk to nearby restaurants and grocery stores, even thought to the stores there is some distance (couple of kms). Wifi worked well for us.

Kitchen was adequately equipped for basic cooking. Rooms were decently sized. Furniture was basic, but comfortable and not worn. Bed was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping was available although we chose not to use it. Plenty of towels available. Quiet.

Only had one bathroom in a two-bedroom condo. As we were two couples, this was inconvenient. Although the larger bedroom had two beds, all the beds were only full-sized beds.

The buffet breakfast was delicious, especially the reindeer sausage!

Accurate breakfast times posted, missed breakfast the 2nd day. It would be better to book your elderly guests into units more convenient to Bear Lodge, Pedro was quite a hike!

The rooms are huge! They are like 1-bedroom apartments with a kitchen, living room, and dining space. The location is nice and set back from the road, so it's very quiet. It is well-landscaped and feels more inviting than a standard hotel. The location is very safe too.

The beds are only full-size so they are a little small for a couple and the mattresses are very soft. We rolled into the center. The door locks are finicky and a bit difficult to use.

Property was close to everything. Hallways were very warm. Unable to use the heat or air due to them winterizing buildings. Rooms were old appearing with old decor. Staff was friendly. A bit much for what it cost.

Our little place away from home was just like a small apartment with everything we needed. We bought food for the week and enjoyed the kitchen, which helped immensely on not eating out every meal. The tv worked, there were great channels to choose from, and there was no problem with the internet. This is a huge plus for me! There were plenty of towels and toiletries, and the area was really nice. It was a breeze booking, and everyone on site was professional and friendly. It was definitely a bang for my buck for what we got. It is an older facility, but everything is updated and in perfect order. It gave us room to spread out, and there were two tvs. The furniture was also comfortable.

My only tiny complaint was coming in at night and not being able to find the N building. I was exhausted after traveling and the little map just didn't do it for me. We drove around and around looking for our room. It would be helpful if you added a light where we go around to the back area. It was dark and we couldn't tell there was a little drive to go around to our building. If we had gotten there in daylight, it wouldn't have been a problem at all.

The staff were very friendly and the room we were given was the suite and I must say it's very spacious and comfy. It had a kitchen and was very well equipped with utensils which made our stay in Alaska a bit more homely. Really loved the stay and the location was perfect. It's like a 5min drive to Walmart

It’s a one bedroom apartment. Perfect for an extended stay.

There are no elevators which wasn’t a problem for us. Just be aware to request the 1st floor if you can’t do stairs.
