I LOVE Miss Susan Jones at the front desk when we checked in after a very long drive with a patient who just had heart Surgery. She was super friend, knowledgable about the hotel, rooms and where the coffee was for my BiL. She even helped me with the paperwork, since I couldn't see without my special glasses. She helped point to where I needed to sign on your members club paperwork. Miss Susan Jones always had a smile on her face, she even won over my cranky pup with a treat, so every time we came off the elevators she swoooooped under the desk looking for her, or the other woman with glasses I didnt get her name.

A better going potty place would be awesome, something like a small doggy park area since pets are in a car or camper a looong time.

Winston and Joey did fantastic breakfast and transport help. Winston used his quick and friendly humor to acquaint us with local events and venues, and steered us in the right direction for our several attractions and meal needs. From the time we landed, these two in particular were seemingly ever present and helping out. They made a favorable impression of Fairbanks for us that I doubt would have happened otherwise. Bedstand outlets and the computer tray table are helpful for tech devices. Temperature was well maintained. Added humidity in the winter would be helpful. I like having shower dispensers for soap and shampoo products, rather than fumbling with little bottles and hand soaps, thank you!! Extended breakfast hours for us weary aurora chasers was extremely appreciated, thanks so much!

Bathrooms could be a little nicer designed and maintained, but were generally acceptable. A critical thing that all hotels should provide is built in support of USB-C to HDMI input for TVʻs, so people can plug and go with their phones and tablets to watch their tourist photos and videos, as well as movies on their own apps. Fumbling around the back of a TV, and figuring out hidden input switching is just a mess for everybody concerned. The next generation will hardly know what channel based TV is! Keep kidʻs hockey teams on lower floors. Obviously. Old customers on top. We heard good things about the seasonally open restaurant in the back. Would have been nice to have that going.

Location was perfect. Just a few turns away from the airport and not too far from everywhere else. The staff were always friendly and ready to help. Having a laundry room on site was a plus. Having a variety of items for breakfast was great and it didn't feel repetitive. Free shuttle service was great when needed. The entrance to the hotel was inviting and warm.

Honestly my main complaint would be the bed. I know it's more of a personal preference but it just was not comfortable. I was constantly waking up from tossing around cause it made my back hurt. It was just too stiff for my liking. The bathroom was nice but the shower/tub we had had a hard time with water pressure and the extractor was super faint.

Clean and quiet. Stayed on the ground floor. The building felt 'solid'. If there was anyone overhead, I didn't hear a thing and I am a very light sleeper. Friendly staff and easy check-in and out. Excellent access very near the airport (but not beneath the flight path). Complimentary breakfast is always a bonus.

'View' was just of the parking lot, but I didn't stay here for a view. Hotel does not have a lot of 'style' if that is what one is looking for, but it is walking distance to the "Love Alaska" sign and to Pike's for dining and atmosphere.

The staff is always friendly and quick to check in/out. Breakfast was great and the breakfast worker went BEYOND to make sure we were happy with it. He was amazing.

We usually stay here in the winter time and the parking spots are sometimes hard to get into. Our main reservation about staying here are the wandering men at night, who stand on the sidewalk and smoke for what seems like 24/7. I didn't see any this time but we were constantly looking.

The hotel was fully booked (including a kids hockey team) but I didn't hear any noise through the walls. That is my biggest indicator of a good night sleep and La Quinta exceeded it. Nice front desk staff and a 24 hour coffee machine in the lobby that rivals anything I've seen. It grinds the beans once you make your selection (and the selections were abundant). I didn't have the breakfast but my family members did and said they were pleased with the selections.

Everything was wonderful

Very friendly and helpful staff. Coffee and cookies daily. Welcome to use lobby space while waiting. Comfortable room and bed. Plenty of food at breakfast time.

My room was directly beside breakfast area so it got noisy from 5.30 am as breakfast was prepared and I had arrived at 2.30am.

The property was in great location and had a great aesthetic to the lobby and a great gift shop. The breakfast that was included every morning was exceptional compared to most hotels. The 24/7 coffee station was outstanding

As with all properties that age, you could stand a little renovation but all in all it wasn’t bad at all

Clean property. Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Staff are awesome - helpful on recommendations, taking care of any issues quickly (a light was out in our room), and very kind. Shuttle was prompt. Very close to airport.

Good value, good breakfast and they provided shuttle from train station and to airport. Most of the staff was courteous and friendly.

One of the receptionist was not customer friendly and seemed to be bothered by our questions.
