Though stated as a 3-star hotel, my family and I felt it was 5 stars in many ways! From Exit 5 of the train station, we could not figure out the way at first. Then we stepped out further where all the cabs were waiting and looked to the right and saw the big Hound logo on one building. We followed that route down the road and reached the hotel in 5 mins. Our family room for 3 was very spacious and we liked that the toilet and shower are separated. Good quality room slippers provided which would be charged if taken away. Big TV with more than 100 channels to watch, albeit mostly Korean programmes. Housekeeping did a wonderful job for all our 3-night stay. We also did the laundry once (washer and dryer KRW10000). Perfume dryer sheet given for the dryer and our clothes smelled so good! We had dinner on the 12th floor and my daughter loved the wings and fries! Definitely returning to this hotel when we visit Busan again.

Stayed here in October 2025 and had a deluxe room with private terrace. This room was amazing, the bed is huge and comfortable, the terrace is excellent to chill on but the stand out was the amazing free standing bath tub. We were here as part of our honeymoon trip and this hotel was our favourite. Planning on going back to Korea and will stay here again. The LG styler was really great to freshen up clothes, had never used one before. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The aircon is extremely strong in the rooms as well which is good.

We loved everything about the hotel.

The hotel and rooms are very comfortable. My husband, my 6 month old baby and I stayed in a baby room and we loved it. Toys and bath, bottle sanitizer and everything you would need with a baby or toddler. They really created a thoughtful space for a family with kids. We were there during an off season, so the pool usually had only a couple of people there. Even though it was not heated during the off season, the water was warm and pleasant to swim in. Hotel itself is 5 min walk to the Busan station, so very convenient to explore the city. Also, I really loved how they would leave towels, bottled water, and tea outside our door even when they didn't go in to clean our room due to " Do not disturb sign". We didn't want the room cleaned but having fresh towels and water was great. 10/10 will come again

I had to ask for an iron as it was not provided in our rooms. They did have a fancy closet that irons your clothes in the room (which is probably better) but as a foreigner I don't know how to use it, and with having a baby, I didn't have time to look it up.

Really great location! It's in between 2 stations. It was a bit hard to find but once we figured it out, it was east to spot. The views from the top floor are stunning. There's free welcome drinks and the breakfast was delicious & plentiful. The room was spacious for 2 people. The front desk associates were welcoming and helped us when we had questions ... and ordering takeout.

There's only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer for the entire hotel. There's a good system in place but I wish there was more than one set of machines.

Location was good. About a 4 minute walk to 2 metro stations, one of them being Busan train station itself. Easy to do with suitcases. The room was spacious and the sound proofing was excellent, we couldn't hear the trains even though we were overlooking the tracks. The bar and rooftop pool were great, we had a free welcome drink on the first night. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, it looked small but perfect for a refreshing dip.

The bathroom was poorly designed. The shower had been plumbed in at an angle, as a result it leaked all over the floor of the bathroom. Bathroom slippers were provided but what we really needed was lots of towels to soak up the water. I created a toilet paper dam on our second and third mornings which stopped the leak but not exactly ideal.

Great location: ~10 min walk from Busan Station, perfect if arriving via KTX. Bus & Metro (Line 1) nearby; while main sights take a bit to reach (Busan is biig), the bus takes you to all of them directly & the area has everything you need. All the staff spoke good English, super friendly, & explained all amenities clearly. Room was spacious (for Korea), with a large bathroom & a rather rare bathtub. All kind of soaps provided, no toothbrush/paste/single-use items (per Korean law), but available via vending machine on 1F for a small price. Breakfast was filling & affordable (12.5k discounted). We had veggie Bibimbap with juice & banchan at the 12F poolside restaurant — great view! Could have also had it in the room tho. If ordered in advance, Americano (no Latte available) included free. Choose Korean or Western (both had veggie options), on the weekend there is a buffet. Didn't try lunch/dinner (many good options close by, or big convenient stores were you can have classic cvs' meals), but enjoyed the complimentary drink in the heated pool (child-free evening hours) — great post-hike relaxation. Slippers & robes provided for easy access. Housekeeping respected our sleep-in, but still left fresh towels, water (one small bottle per person for each day is complimentary - can get more with the water filter on the 12F), & new trash bags at the door. Highlight: the LG Styler in-room to refresh clothes — super handy after hiking or dining out. Could also see if you are here for business it would fix your wrinkled clothing. For actual laundry there was a washing machine + dryer on the 1F available for a fee. Would definitely stay again if I return to Busan!

Nothing - if I have to look for something: sometimes you maybe have to wait a bit for the elevator or at the check-in counter (not long tho), big TV but little hard to navigate if you don't speak Korean/read Hangul.

The location was practical, close to the Busan train station. The rooftop and the piscine were super cool. The rooms were okay. The personal was polite and helpful.

We rented a room for three people but they were only two beds and a duvet for a third person, just that the duvet was kind of thin and it was hard to sleep on it because you could feel the floor so if you are not used to sleeping in the floor like that I would recommend not to get this option. Also when we arrived one of the towels had a stain but we talked with the personal and they changed it.

Overall great stay at the hotel because of: - fantastic location right near Busan station - staff were kind and spoke English well - great pool & room service - superior interior with an LG Styler and bathtub

We only had two small issues: - the A/C is directed at the bed and even though we set the temperature to 22°C, it was quite cold and blowing into our faces, even at low speed, while we were sleeping - the elevators sometime didn‘t stop at our floor (6th floor) and kept passing it, my husband was stuck in the elevator for several minutes while it was going to other floors but ours

A big hotel a few minutes walk from the train station, I was blown away by the value. The bathroom was amazing, with incredible products, a large bath and lots of towels. The bed was comfy and the room a decent size. I didn't end up using the pool but it looked lovely, and the whole bar area upstairs was really lovely. I tend to avoid hotel restaurants but on a rainy day I gave in and had a really decent meal and good wine, all reasonably priced. The bar staff were really friendly and helpful. The area is fine too, sometimes near stations can be a bit sketchy but it felt totally safe, and lots of food and coffee places minutes away.

My room was a bit warm on the first night and the air con wasn't on(it will be in the next few weeks I believe). That's it and that's being picky.

It’s our second stay at Hound Hotel Busan, and we have been looking forward to coming back here. Everything is great. Staff is so wonderful, rooms are spacious, upscale and clean, beds are comfortable. The location is great next to the station and the port, with many restaurants nearby. We have been eating at the hotel restaurant a lot, which is open from early in the morning until very late, offering both Western and Korean cuisine. We also enjoyed using the pool. The water was warm in mid-April when we visited. We hope we’ll get a chance to return in the future.
