top floor, great view on the square and the river, balcony, super comfortable beds, bath tub, cattle in the room. Helpful and friendly receptionist. The aesthetic of the hotel creates an atmosphere of past times, which is somehow cheesy yet pleasant.

the hotel has been running for some dozen years and it can be seen on the furniture as well as cutlery and dishes in the breakfast room. The room is not 100% sound proofed. One can hear talks from the neighbour rooms and if there is a chat in the corridor it's all heard very well. I was surprised to notice that the staff, thought very friendly, speaks very little the language of the country they are living and working in. For some I am not sure they spoke any english. And for the price of the hotel the quality of the tea in the room and for the breakfast was extremely poor.

The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The room was clean and we had a beautiful view of the city. The hotel offered pool/jacuzzi services and billiards and table tennis all included in the price. The breakfast was good and was also included in the price.

I wish that the pool/jacuzzi had later opening hours. It closed at 7PM which felt a little early.

Many times I stayed here - and returned again, and will return again in 2025 Feb. For sure, you can find better and worse hotels in Karlsbad, this one represents personally for us - kind of a golden middle: we are ok with breakfast, we find Lunch/Dinner tasty. Visible that people try hard, the place is perfect, price ok if you book a bit in advance, parking lot - easy to achieve with funicular railway, 5 min walk to springs..

Maybe rennovation is some rooms would make sense

Hotel in the centre of the Karlovy Vary. The rooms are big enough and well-equipped. The view from the window is really nice, even at night. The carpet in the room little bit dirty, but at least not smelly. This is the problem in almost every hotel here in CZ. Breakfast was really good, with many choices. Swimming pool with a hot-tube was nice.

The temperature of the swimming pool should be a little bit higher. It was 25-26, but we were looking at around 30 C. We are in Karlovy Vary, right :)

The hotel is not new, but it has it’s charm with the classic design. The great position and the view. Good breakfast. Everything was tasty. We didn’t miss a bottle of a sekt (may be, because of the KV movie festival). We had warm atmosphere. Used small swimming pool. We had it only for us. The staffs are very friendly and the owner is ready to help as well. Recommend it.

Very comfortable big room, great location, good beds, nice view. Very nice lady at the reception.

Little bit old hotel, the quality of breakfast food and drinks was mediocre, not very interesting choice…

The location was great, just off the center of the attractions. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet and a good selection. We used the pool and gym, the pool was nice, the gym was ok if you're trying to just get a small workout in. If you have a rigorous workout routine, you might not find what you need in the gym - but if you're in Karlsbad for vacation that's probably not a concern for you :)

The best thing was the location, especially during the International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary. Generally the location is excellent if you want to walk in the centre , along the river and the collonnades. The room had a great view of the town and the greenery above it, but the morning cleaning trucks were noisy. There is a very good indoor swimming pool too. Breakfast was average to good.

If you have a room facing the centre of the town you will be woken up by the cleaning trucks very early in the morning. Parking is very difficult and very expensive - better come without a car.

Even hotel is old, it is all very clean and you have everything available.

The personnel is not speaking English or German, they have only one person at the front desk -we waited for checking more than 45 min because there was a new person without clearly knowing what he needs to do for checkin. Also in the room was missing the toilet paper, this was one of the struggles. If you would arrive in the night after 23:00 you will have to ring for opening the front door and you will see a grumpy face. The breakfast was good, but personnel is all the time behind you-a little too intrusive

Spacious, quiet room in a lovely part of town convenient to the hot springs. The multi-lingual front desk staff were very friendly, and the indoor pool with windows was a plus.

While the breakfast was lovely, good brewed coffee might be better than the so-so coffee from the press-button coffee machine. This was a minor issue, though -- there are several excellent coffee options a 3-4-minute walk from the hotel.
