Breakfast, very good. Service at the desk, amazing, Pool, very cosy, Poolservice man, excellent, god bless him, Room, very nice. 10 points are not enough, this motel earns more. Best stay during two weeks in Florida, thank you.😊

Really nothing at all

My group of friends had a fabulous time staying at Surf&Sand during Mardi Gras!!! The hotel is set up with exterior room doors like an older motel with large wrap around porch walkways. Each staff member were extra helpful and friendly. The grounds are kept clean with regular attention. Their lobby is super cute, updated, and clean. The hotel is centrally located with quick access to the streets, the beach, and entertainment. We borrowed some bicycles that Surf&Sand offers to their guests. Everything was great! Surf&Sand will be my new regular place to stay when visiting Pensacola!

Location is wonderful, breakfast biscuits and waffles great, staff is so friendly, helpful ❤️ our 5th year visiting. Look forward to this trip each year and always stay here when in Pensacola. sweet little gem of the island ❤️ keep up the great work and little improvements and details,keeps getting better every visit.

Only thing I recommend needs work is-The soap dispensers in shower and near sink kept to fall off when needing to use, need to check those out they aren't sturdy at all my kids kept dropping them and I would have to hold it still to make stuff come out. It was a pain but just something to point out to fix or change those, they look like they could break very easy and cause injury if not careful. I work in customer service too and that is only thing that stood out as needing to bring up, other than that we love this precious motel and staff!

How convenient it was to get to the beach either side and how we could enjoy bikes, kayaks, &’ paddle boards at no extra charge. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also nice . Pool was too cold this time around so we didn’t swim much but enjoyed the stay.

Felt like they could do better at cleaning the room. We had some things still on the floor when checked in. (Alcohol bottle &’ cheez it behind the bed) there was sand everywhere but being it was a beach , that wasn’t too disappointing. Was hoping for a heated pool also , thought that was mentioned somewhere but guess not.

The best thing about Surf & Sand motel are the staff members. I was evacuated from French Creek state park and checked to see if I could get in early. My room wasn't available but I was offered an alternative that was ready. So, great. The breakfast was lovely. The small beach on the property is quite nice and there is a huge gorgeous beach across the street. I love this place.

Well, it is a motel with outside doors. During the storm, the door rattled. But I always felt safe and, in fact, found the rattle engaging. If you are a person who needs a place that is super quiet, this may not be the place for you in the middle of a windstorm.

the hotel is very family friendly, it's in a good location, we felt safe the whole time. the property is nice, the rooms are clean and tidy, they offer COOKED breakfast items as well as the traditional continental style offerings and the cook/server/hostess is a VERY NICE lady with a beautiful Bulgarian accent who takes AWESOME care of the guests, so if you visit, please please please make sure to tip her because she TRULY works hard to see that everyone is comfortable, well fed and enjoying themselves, and not wanting for anything that she can provide!!! She was truly a gem and the absolute best part of our stay😊😊😊

the only thing I didn't like was that Mother Nature was not cooperating and sent us such cold weather and wind.... but everything about the property was fantastic!

The location was fabulous. The value was great. The maintenance guy was awesome. Does he ever take a break he was working hard. Always moving and working. The front desk staff on Thursday and Friday were awesome and friendly. For the lady sorry we didn’t get your name who did all the breakfast. Thank you. You worked your tail off and make breakfast great for everyone. We will be back

Beds need updated Toilet needed fixed in room 324 And the sound of water running in the room was a bit annoying.

Location was perfect. Rooms were clean check in guest services was excellent and when we had a problem with our room, they quickly accommodated us and fix the issue.

We were originally placed in room 323 and immediately noticed that the air conditioner wasn’t working we went to talk with guest services. They sent someone to fix the air conditioner however, throughout the night the air conditioner continued to have issues sounding like an ambulance driving by every single time it would kick on. I made some video recordings and showed it to the front desk next morning and they switched us to a different room and we had no issues after that. The pool was fantastic. It was clean and well kept. Breakfast was decent. I wish they would’ve had the beverage center available in the evening as well. That would’ve been a nice touch.

Hotel is close (one block) to the beach but is not seen from hotel window. Location near the Pensacola Beach is nice, there is a public facility across the street on the beach. To get to hotel - there is a toll bridge each time you travel to the hotel. The breakfast was nice and the attendant was very helpful (and made waffles). Couple items missing were yogurt and fresh fruit. I had hoped for am exercise room but didn't exist at this hotel. Mattress was worn and somewhat dished. TV channel selector was difficult to figure out and no tv guide available

Coffee and breakfast were greatly appreciated and the location a block from the beach was really nice and the area is not thoroughly built up so traveling along the beach was nice. Staff was friendly. Nice to have an elevator even though the rooms are accessed from an outdoor corridor. the heater/air conditioner ran quietly compared to all other hotels we stayed in the past couple weeks. Nice shower with shampoo & conditioner dispensers - really nice

Breakfast was really good! Mrs. Elizabeth works very hard to make everyone happy, we appreciate it very much. She keep it very clean Also we like that there is always coffee and water and bananas 🍌 🍌 and oranges 🍊 in the dining room available all day.. also the house keepers are honest I forgot my tablet in the room and they found it and call me and returned to me. Thank you very much..
