This is a beautiful beach--calm, clear water, clean sand, and very quiet during the off season. Decent restaurants and the usual beach shopping available within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above average for this type of hotel. We also enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, and lazy river. I'd definitely return to this hotel.

Just for your information, you need transportation if you want to explore the area, including Pensacola. We used a ride share to get places, which can get a bit pricey. Parking at the hotel isn't free, and the distance from the airport is 30-40 minutes depending on time of day and traffic. If you want a nice view of the beach, ask for a room on the right side of the hotel as it faces the gulf so you don't have much of your view obscured by the restaurant's roof.

Very nice clean hotel. The staff were all friendly. Breakfast was good. The 2 hotels next door are sister hotels so you are able to use their pools as well.

This was a last-minute booking after our other accommodation was canceled on us. The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Pensacola Beach saved the day! The staff here was amazingly friendly and helpful. The location was great... within walking distance of so much. The view was beautiful, and the beachfront was clean... a quick walk from the hotel pool area. Best pool of anywhere we've ever stayed. Even this sixty-something couple that usually doesn't frequent hotel pools had a good time relaxing there and floating the "lazy river." We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts. The food was so good, and the kitchen staff kept it well stocked and tidy. Great job by them every day we were there. We felt so lucky that we ended up here after our other plans fell through. Loved the facilities and the staff!

Excellent location, spacious, clean and had everything needed. Breakfast was good. Off licence right in front of the hotel. Access allowed to sister hotel next door. Good size car park. Nice bar with access to the beach and pool area. Pools were excellent, nice touch with the lazy river. Right on the beach, so access there was good too. Each day a different liquor deal. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Towels provided only for the pool, should have had some for the beach also. Additional charge of 10 dollars per night for parking (plus tax!) No sunbeds on the beach by the hotel. With the amount paid, I expected those to be included. The ones on the beach by an external company, were highly priced in my view for 2 sunbeds and umbrella for the day if you pay in cash was 60 dollars. Breakfast only on until 9.30am.

Lovely pool and lazy river!

The hot tub was full of children ages 5 to 11 or with no parents supervising them at night between 9 and 10 o'clock p.m.. (There was a cheer competition in Pensacola so several cheerleaders and their siblings were at the hotel.) Many adults including myself left the hotub area after only a a few minutes due to the children being very loud, jumping into the hot tub, and throwing footablls across it. That was a bummer when expecting to relax and paying good money to have a nice experience! Other than that, my trip was awesome and I have no other complaints.

Great location and beautiful views of the Gulf. Easy beach access, high quality pool with lazy river, and good food and drink at the Fish Head on site restaurant. The breakfast was well attended by all.

Breakfast options seemed limited, and some items ran out fairly early each morning (like waffles). There were consistently long lines (our visit was during weekdays) and the layout made for chaotic clumps of people in line for one thing blocking access to other food options. The room was comfortable but basic.

Did not state you had to pay for parking. We would have probably picked a different spot if it would have been stated with the cost in the property description like the other hotels around it.

The view was spectacular, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was exceptional.

There was too much road construction, and there was no indoor restaurant. It was too cold to be seated outside to eat. The continental breakfast was horrible throughout the week. Cold bagels, unripe fruits, turkey sausage, instant oatmeal, boiled, and scrambled eggs. The weekend breakfast looked decent, but it was a large group there, and they were fanning through all the food, which was a sanitary issue for me. But overall, it was good.

Location, location location! Facility is so comfortable, view of the pools and ocean from our balcony room was perfect! They cleaned our room every day! Lobby is open & bright with floor to ceiling windows viewing the pool areas. Breakfast was good - loved the spinach quiche & egg frittata- hubby like the breakfast sandwiches- otherwise all the typical breakfast offerings- cereal yogurt bagels eggs sausage etc coffee was very good - bananas for fruit. OMG the lazy River pool was just wonderful. There were lots of young families staying here. We never experienced any rowdiness or anyone causing any commotion. The music throughout facility was nice. There were plenty of lounge, chairs and umbrellas. Also have an adult pool and hot tub area. Recommend daily piña coladas from Fish heads! Every single person working on property was extremely friendly/helpful. Annaleese gave us complimentary perks for our 40th anniversary! We didn’t want to leave

Main Hot tub was too warm & our shower had only warm water/ oranges on breakfast buffet looked bad

Facilities and staff were top notch. Couldn't have asked for a nicer experience.

The breakfast offering was not what I would consider up to Marriott standards. We ended up after the first morning getting breakfast locally. We ate the first night at the hotels 'Fish Heads' bar & grill and it was very good, but the next night we got some bad fish and it caused us to stay in the room most of the day.
