The hotel is directly on the lake shore, so it was great to just go to the hotel's bathhouse and swim in the lake from there. Lovely cocktails and food at the hotel. The hotel is very dog friendly, which we love and the staff is really nice

You pay for the location, and the rooms are perhaps slightly overpriced, considering they are just normal looking rooms. At that price, you would expect some luxury somewhere. But overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Very convenient private and free parking lot. Very nice view on the lake from the restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Staff extremely kind and helpful. Room not especially large or especially well furnished, but very quiet. Bathroom quite OK. Beds comfortable but on the small side. The restaurant was elegant and comfortable.

The reception procedure uses a software which could be improved: it takes ages to complete. The room, as said, was not as large as one could expect for the price, and the beds were smaller than expected. When we arrived, about at 17:00, the room was cold, and it took some time to get it warm enough. There was a spider-web on the ceiling. The restaurant was not exceptional, with a reduced menu. The hotel is nearby the train rails, which (a) has caused slowing in getting in and out with the car because the rails had to be crossed every time and the trains were quite frequent, and (b) did produce some noise, although bearable since the windows worked very well.

We visited out of season and so the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and a nice touch with the complimentary spritz. Would have appreciated the location more if the weather had been better, but we stayed here as a stop over between Munich and Chur to catch the Bernina Express as the hotels were silly prices in Chur.

There is not a lot to do in Lochau in the winter! Dining options limited to quite a finer dining option in the hotel, no more casual bar snack meals. Had to go into Bregenz to eat. No coffee making facilities in the room. Big omission I feel, little things mean a lot.

We booked a lake view double room. The moment we entered the room we were attracted to the beautiful view immediately. The room is spacious and with all the comfort you need. Bed was very comfortable. We went to the SPA Wellness and loved the 60 celsius Sauna which has a lake view. We were travelling during the low season so we were almost alone in the sauna. Every sharp hour there is a AUFGUSS in the 90 celcius sauna. There is a steam room too. All very clean! Nice! Before breakfast I had a one hour walk by the lake. It was chilly but I enjoyed it very much! Great location !walking distance to everywehere. The breakfast was in very good quality. How nice it is to enjoy good quality food in a well styled reatuarant with a lake view! The service was very attentive. We would defintely recommend this hotel!

Just a pleasure from A to Z! Private Parking at the door, Friendly welcome. Absolute lakeside location, Rooms and sauna/turkish bath/ indoor pool (included) all brand new, Magnificent breakfast on the terrace…. But the best part is the fabulous ´cabin’ literally on the water with bar and sun deck/lounge for clients and direct access by ladder into the lake (plus charming lifeguard)!!!!!! (Swiss Hotels/tourist services should please take note)

This is a true gem on the Bodensee. Staff is excellent and very nice, helpful - it felt like "coming home". Hotel and facilities are 5 stars + and breakfast a true joy as was dinners and amenities. But staff was the best I have experienced (and I tyravel alot).

Itb was a little bit hard to drive to since you had to turn sharply over a railroad - but besides that there wasnt really anything that felt less good.

This is a really good spa hotel located in the Austrian part of Bodensee. Beautiful location and a beautiful hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful and the spa facilities quite good

The hotel restaurant is OK but not really good value for money. The place is in a lovely location in the small town of Lochau but the downside is that there is not much else around.

We had a wonderful couples’ weekend at Seehotel am Kaiserstrand. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is absolutely beautiful. The spa and pool were excellent, and overall it was great value for money. We'd definitely come back again!

Sometimes a bad smell was present

Newly renovated, opened in July. Location was lovely. Directly on the water with walking trails, marinas, wildlife and a beautiful bathhouse. The front desk staff was warm, exceptional thoughtful and helpful. Parking was close and easy. Rooms were modern, clean, filled with light, and comfortable. The best pillow of our travels in Europe. Breakfast options were abundant and delicious. Try a hot chocolate or elderflower juice and enjoy your stay!

The staff were ever so welcoming, the room was of a good size with a big bathroom. The welcome drink was a very nice touch. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had and the staff serving breakfast were fantastic.

Unfortunately there was a train line close to our room. We would stay again, but would take a room facing the lake.
