Nice spot on top of a hill overlooking the ocean. Clean facility within steps to the touristy spots of Sidi Bou Saïd. Cool rooftop with good views. Quiet at night once all of the people using the view point disappear.

Our room overlooked a cemetary. The booking site stated there is a hot tub and pool but no hot tub available and the pool looked like an infection waiting to happen because of all the birds that used it as a bath. Lots of people use the path to the cemetary and view point so it sounds like people are literally in your room when they walk buy. We were given a basic breakfast of fruit and breads with yougurt. We noticed that other people were getting much better breakfasts.

A cozy hotel with traditional decor and friendly staff. The view from the roof terrace is AMAZING, make sure to visit it in the evening when the sun goes down! In the morning a tray of good breakfast is served in the courtyard. Comfortable and nice rooms.

The pool is too small to swim in, but it is good enough to dip and cool off if you sunbathe on the terrace. Cars can't drive all the way up to the hotel so be prepared for a bit of a walk. But it's worth it! To reach the nearest beach you need to walk down stone steps. Fantastic view but it's a bit difficult to walk in, so it'a a good idea to wear good shoes. It is also possible to take a taxi to and from the beach!

Dar Fatma invites its guests to experience an old traditional house with modern hotel conveniences. The rooms are small, even cramped. Stairs to second floor and roof are narrow and uneven. Hotel is difficult to access by car, only accessible by steep cobble stone stairs. People with heavy baggage or mobility issues will find Dar Fatma difficult.

Great location, very friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Very pretty rooms, easy to keep cool. The house itself is super nice as well and you have an amazing view from the roof. I could leave my luggage on the day I checked out, which was super good as well.

There were pigeons in our bathroom window, so we couldn't open it - but that was ok. Unfortunately also the pool was dirty because of the pigeons, so we ended up not using it which was a shame as this was the reason for this hotel.

Overall, the experience was exceptional. The hotel is a quaint repurposed house (Dar), with very friendly staff with whom we could communicate smoothly despite a language barrier. They were very cooperative and helpful. Perfect location to experience the lanes of Sidi Bou Said and its markets. The terrace is lovely and being located on top of the hill is open on three sides to the sea; evenings are especially beautiful with the sea breeze to just lounge around (on the terrace).

To stretch (invent) a negative, perhaps the only thing is that the same reason the property's location is picturesque also makes it a bit difficult to access via a vehicle. However, a short step away from the door (2-3 min walk) is where taxis can park, pick up, drop etc.

They seemed a bit surprised as we arrived and we got our room 30 minutes late compared to the hours stated on Booking. Some confusion with the payment where I had to correct the staff member that two times almost taxed me 10 times too much. Apart from that great experience!

Absolutely gorgeous! The room was beautiful and large with a view onto the charming courtyard. There is a roof terrace with a pool and a view onto the sea and the stunning blue and white neighbourhood of Sidi Bou Said. The whole hotel was very clean and also very beautifully decorated. The staff we so kind and helpful to us. We needed a taxi into the city (it can be hard for a taxi to get into this neighbourhood due to a lot of pedestrian only streets, which of course makes it a wonderful place to walk around!) the owner has a connection to a local taxi that arrived right on time and knows how to get to the hotel. The location could not have been better. Just 3 minutes walking to the main shopping street full of restaurants and shops. The whole area felt so safe. I went walking at night by myself at 10pm, as a 28 year old woman alone. Well lit streets with a few friendly cats here and there, and the main street loaded with families and other women enjoying evening strolls.

It could not have been better! We loved our stay here and only wish we could have stayed longer. We will book here again 100% if we ever are lucky enough to be back in town. I would recommend it to all my friends and family.

If you plan to explore Sidi Boussaid - this is your perfect address! With only a few rooms Dar Fatma is a very cozy private hotel where one is only few steps away from the local market in Sidi Boussaid. It has great views, very properly furnished, with Tunisian charme, and it is very well looked after. The staff provided information regarding Sidi Boussaid, which was helpful. Personally I appreciated a lot the acceptance of the owner of the hotel regarding the duration changes of my stay, although it was within the last 48h.

Small pool at the top roof to freshen yourself. Location is perfect and close to the center. Suggestion for the visitors. Pool is really small. If you are a constant swimmer, you will definitely disappointed. This pool is not for you. Place is perfect for couples. If you are a solo traveller and looking for inner peace and a couple of days escape from everything, this is the place for you. Staff is very friendly but in general can not speak english. Use google translater. P.s. I am a solo traveler just looking for silence, sitting under the shades and listening music with the earphones. Not looking for fun or something. I found out a sushi restaurant in the center. One bottle of wine and sushi at the roof of Dar Fatma at night restored my energy. I feel good...

Very well located. Excellent breakfast thanks to Salua. David is an amazing soul. There’s a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful weather of Sidi. Plenty of good restaurants around, you well be very well placed to reach all the main attractions. I would stay again for sure. And I did love to visit during the Ramadan really worth it the experience. Chockran 🙏
