We stayed in one of the suites, and we were not disappointed! Unfortunately the building was not on the lake, but it was huge, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we expect at a 4 star hotel plus a bathroom with a walk-in shower that fits 2 people! We sat on our private deck looking at the stars at night...and during the day moved down to the lake to walk around or just sit and read on the beach. We saw lots of deer and other wildlife in this peaceful resort. Every room/cabin gets its own row boat and dock, which we didn't use this time, but maybe next year when we return.

The room was not on the lake, nor was there a fire pit nearby that we could use. However, we now have a map of other cabins and can plan our next trip accordingly next time.

The resort was much larger then expected and very spreadout. Our room was spacious, comfortable and looked and smelled clean. The access to the row boats is an awesome add on so we enjoyed our time rowing out on the lake. The property is close proximity to a lot of different options of places to eat, shops and fun.

Checkout is at 10am which is the earliest that I've ever experienced. This was known in advance so it wasn't anything to deter us from booking.

The location was excellent. The cottage felt like it was separate from the others even though they were all set in groups. The peace and quiet was the best part of the experience.

It snowed a lot after we arrived and our driveway was never plowed while the other guests driveways had been taken care of. We were out in the daytime each day of our stay and still, we had to drive over the same mounds of snow from the constant snowfall. If not for the four wheel drive on my SUV, we would have surely been stuck.

We stayed in one of the king suites. It was immaculate. Beautifully decorated, extremely clean, very spacious and comfortable. The room had everything we needed including coffee. The location was fabulous - beautiful, right near the lake. The next morning we headed over to one of the lake beaches and had it entirely to ourselves. It was so gorgeous and peaceful.

The map was a LITTLE tricky in order to find the cottage at first - luckily my husband is much better with maps and directions than I am, so he figured it out much faster than I would have. The price was a little steeper than our normal nightly budget on a hotel, however I can't complain about it too much because the place truly was stunning and in an excellent location. We really enjoyed our time.

Location was great, close to everything, but tucked away in the quiet. I will definitely return!

We had a tiny leak in what should be the "skylight", where the glass was replaced with wood shutter-like slats. I was able to clean it with a paper towel twice over the course of our weekend stay. It didn't disrupt our stay, but would have been more annoying if we were there longer.

This was our second stay in the Couples Cottage and it was wonderful! There are many 1, 2 & 3 Bedroom Cottages at this resort in addition to several Couples Suites. But there is only ONE Couples Cottage and we are hooked! Immaculate accomodations, jacuzzi tub, spa towels & robes, gas fireplace, complimentary soda, coffee & water. Glassware, silverware, dishes, ice machine. All tucked away in a tiny cottage in the woods. So peaceful and refreshing! Our go to place for a quick getaway!

Location, convenient. Room was cozy.

I stayed at a unrenovated building. The other spots- cabins, cottages looked so cute from the outside. Mine only looked nice from the inside. The ping pong spot could've looked better too.

We liked the Hillside Suites and the clean beautiful lake. Also, we liked being able to bring our own kayaks. The fish are always agreeable.

Firstly, we would like an earlier check in so you don’t lose your first day of vacation. Secondly, a later check out would be nice.

It was beautiful and peaceful. I loved having coffee with the view of the lake. It was private and the suite was gorgeous!

I would have loved if checkout time was a drop later even by an hour but I would come back for another visit.

The location of being back in the woods, very quiet and pretty.

Only complaint was the bed, the mattress and pillows were much too soft for us. Just personal preference to wanting a little more stability.
