I loved the quietness of the place, It may be a bit hard for some to find. My favorite parts of the room were the balcony and the bathroom, it almost gave you the feeling of being in a cabin with amenities of a luxury hotel room. We had a room with a view, and loved having breakfast on the terrace. We enjoyed cooking a couple of meals on the stove. I loved our checking woman, she was so pleasant and funny, she made our stay much more pleasant and welcoming.

The thing that may bother me was that the heat/air condition is very close to the bed, leaving very little room to get out of bed. I also did not like the fact that the sofa bed's mattress was so thin that it would have been impossible for a guest to sleep on it and that would be horrible if your party is more than 3.

The staff were so helpful, especially Carol who even lent us her personal phone and also took our rental car company to task over a problem that would have been far more difficult to resolve because our phones wouldn't work. She even called in when off duty to give us info. Above and beyond the call of duty. You will feel well taken care of at Carriage House.

I enjoyed all the activities within the hotel. The location was off road which made it a quiet setting, which was a plus. The pricing was decent. We would definitely recommend.

We didn't like that there was only 1 ice machine, that anyone can stick their hands in. Also Ice machine wasn't the cleanest. Bed was ok but having 2 semi small pillows made sleeping uncomfortable.

The staff was was very kind, helpful and very personable. We stayed in a mini suite so we could make our own meals. It had everything you needed to cook with along with a dishwasher. The room was huge. There were only three of us but there would have been enough to sleep 5. We will stay there again

Nice location but difficult to find. No map. GPS didn’t work well in the mountainous area. Spent a lot of time driving around as we were frequently lost. Space was adequate.

I was suprised that it was an old 1950’s style of decor. Old couch, carpet but it was clean. No window in the bedroom. One AC unit in LR. Lack of restaurants. No breakfast here. Though there was a kitchen with a toaster and stove. Small fridge. Difficult to get luggage cart through the front doors as the doors couldn’t stay open by themselves. E

Didn’t like that after i unloaded my stuff, i had to wheel it over to the stairs and then carry everything down to another luggage cart

Room was clean and had a chair, table with a chair, bed, tv, 2 bed side lamps and 1 lamp over table. TV had good selection of channels but had to figure out how to use control. There was a good size refrigerator, stove with 4 burners but at least 1 was totally out of commission and would need a repairman to change the connection (Did not use stove). Dishwasher (I did not use). Glasses, plates, silverware (I did not use). Toaster (I did not use). Microwave (I did not use). Bathroom facilities were functional and stocked well. Lady at the reception desk on Saturday morning was very helpful on giving me advice for restaurants and written directions and also directions where I had to go for a wedding. Excellent internet connection.

Chain lock on door was broken (I did not report it). For meals you were on your own to go to a restaurant, etc. Arrived after dark and Carriage House sign was very small to see. Road Carriage House was on the sign is also very small and you really have to look even in the daytime to see it. Make the sign larger and light it. My GPS also took me down to the road past where the big sign is so I was lost in the dark and luckily I came across a lady riding her bicycle in the dark who gave me directions.

The location is one of the best in the area, closed to everything. The staff is lovely. The value for the price is unbeatable.

Like some older reviews say, it is a little dated, but if they renew it will cost much more. I stick to the current decor.

I loved everything! The pool was amazing. We had a blast at the arcade. We loved that we could bbq and have the best time with our family.

We choose this location because of the Sauna and we asked in advance 3 days before if it was working. When we got there they said it was under maintenance. Otherwise it this hotel was beyond our expectations!
