Except for a high end 5 star hotel i stayed at, this was the absolute cleanest hotel ive ever stayed at. Even the pool area was clean. There always hair in the pools and on the floor, and I saw people using it, it was just maintained so well. And it's in a perfect location, right by a big shopping center.

My only real complaint was the woman handling the breakfast area was a little snarky. Maybe they should have 2 people working the area so if people have questions they can ask without feeling like they are being a bother. I'm only throwing this last comment in after seeing the survey ask about the lighting. Light switches for at least one lamp would be nice. The corridor to enter the room is really long so even with that light on you can barely see at night to get to a lamp to turn it on. A light switch to an outlet or a hard wired lamp would be good

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Incredibly clean, no visible wear on furnishings, nice smelling, and comfy fresh bedding -- everything very well maintained. Nice (if very petite!) pool and hot tub too. We were on the first floor on a sold out weekend so I was concerned about noise, but it was very quiet. Good breakfast options -- thank you for the gluten free muffins and yogurt! Near anything you might want in terms of supplies, restaurants (good pizza place just across the parking lot, about a 1 mile drive to Target, etc.), and about 20-60 minutes from many area attractions.

We had a King room and were surprised by how tiny it was -- we even checked with the front desk to make sure it wasn't accidentally a Queen, and they said no, but that they've heard this from other guests! We are from NYC and it really felt more like a city hotel room -- basic, efficient, cramped. The pool couldn't really accommodate multiple kids or exercise, but it was fine. Felt pricey for what we got, but that seems to be the case for this area.

This was a chain hotel with the feel of a boutique hotel. It was so refreshing to see the unique, vibrant wall colors and hallway rugs, the colorful furniture in the lobby, and the cool artwork in the room. We did not need a suite, as we were just passing through the area, but we were unable to change the initial booking. So despite the fact that we had no time to enjoy relaxing in it, the accommodations were very nice. Great shower, crisp sheets, plentiful breakfast!

The couch in the suite was old and worn-looking. We draped a blanket over it to sit on it. Might we suggest easy-to-disinfect furniture such as faux leather?

Excellent hotel, very convenient for a stopover for those on their way to Newark Airport, which is about an hour and a quarter away by car. Very comfortable beds, large room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is small but comfortable. Free parking.

Breakfast is the weak point. For value for money the crockery should not be plastic. Cereals are served not in dispensers but in small supermarket boxes.

The beds are amazing. Very clean white linens, super cozy pillows. In a very cool room due to AC on already. Only here for one night and wishing it was longer. Decent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely the better hotel chains. Will only book Fairfield in the future.

The breakfast was ok I think more options for the kids like waffles, pancakes, bacon etc

Well the only thing that I didn’t like was when I left my room and let the cleaners that I need my room to get clean cause I got a baby they didn’t clean it! So I spend my 3 nights with the room unclean but other than that everything was good

The fact that my deposit was already taken out when I booked the hotel room and I had lost my credit card and when I arrived I was told they had to refund that deposit and they were going to just take the deposit out on another credit card but it ended up being the total cost of the room which I had told the front desk that we wanted to pay some in cash and that it was supposed to paid at checkout not when we checked in

The hotel was in a great location with restaurants and a grocery store near. The hotel is right behind a little plaza with a dunkin donuts if you like something quick in the morning. We did not have the hotel breakfast.

The check in attendant was rude and not there when we arrived at 6 pm. When I rang the bell she came out annoyed. When I asked if we had a quiet room she responded to me by saying- just feel lucky you have a room! Very rude!

The breakfast was good and it was very clean we had a room on end that was very quiet

Nothing on the hotels side could of been better. However couldn't find my reservations because Booking put my first name Merrie Lou as my first and Lou as my last. This happened before also🤔
