The property itself was fine, had a 'camp-slash-Motel 6' feel about it. We were allowed to check in late, despite some hiccups on that part. Everything was "budget, but acceptable for the price". Best part: bakery down the street is INCREDIBLE. Look for the Apple Pie sign.

Booking's site had said basically 'write a note if you need to check in later'. I did, mentioning that we wouldn't be arriving until late because our flight didn't land until midnight. No response from motel. Forgot about it, because of traveling chaos. Then while we were on our flight, 10 minutes before the office closed, a man called my call phone and left a message wondering where we were. The second we arrived (12:45), I called back. The man did answer the phone (bonus points for that?), but was quite rude. So, either leave a message on and don't answer, or be ready to answer the phone in the middle of the night as if you're running a business.

Easy to check in. The room was close by and ground level. Nice and warm in the room on a very cold night. Water pressure is very nice and plenty hot too. Room is a good size and very clean. TV is not so large, but they have a lot of good channels. There is a small fridge in the room. Bed is very comfortable.

Nothing wrong. It's a fine basic accommodation.

I loved the area as it was close to stores restaurants gas stations and parks.

I didn't like the fact that online it didn't state the pool and Jacuzzi wasn't operating until you got to the location and booked it, but I do understand that it was only due to renovations.

Location was 1/2 mile away from our event; pet-friendly, clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful over the phone as was the booking service. Definitely affordable leaving us with plenty of savings to hit a diner in Snydersville for a mid-morning breakfast. The only problem we encountered was that we had arrived at the Glenwood late and had difficulty finding our room in the dark and our shower didn't have water. Because we were late getting on-site, however, we were unable to do a room change, altho we were so tired, it was not that big a deal since we had planned an early departure anyway.

I loved the area that was close to stores and shopping, I loved the quietness and the size of the room.

It wasn't nothing I didn't like but was sad that the pool and Jacuzzi was closed due to renovations.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is a locally owned, family run place, which I love. Very accessible to multiple outdoor activities in the area. Rooms and grounds are no frills, but for the price and what we needed, it was perfect. Rooms, conference area, and pool/hot tub were clean and refreshing after a long day.

Great price/value. Clean, comfortable room. Lovely property. Old fashioned mountain getaway.

Toilet had slow leak that caused it to fill tank couple of times an hour. Noisy. Venetian blinds did not close. No curtains for privacy. Walls paper-thin. Sound from neighbors was not a problem, but there was little sound insulation.

The property manager was very humble and reachable.

The location is very beautiful. The property has very good view and very humble and nice staff .

John was very attentive and kind! The property is amazing, reminded me of the Poconos of yore. Watched some stars in the open field behind the property and went swimming the next day in the indoor pool! Definitely would recommend

We wanted to get away from new york. Pennsylvania is beautiful all on its own. We took our 8 year old son and we love the outdoors. This place is perfect for a family who is looking for a little adventure. It looked like they were re renovating the place and it gave it a unique touch. It was very spacious and had a lot of land and trails to walk on along side of the river. Their pool and jacuzzi was great as well. Definitely worth it.

The pool was a little to cold thats about it.
