My partner and I stayed in the the Lodge Maisonette, which had a lofted living room area with a hammock and book nook. We enjoyed having the extra space to relax in--that hammock in the loft was truly the most comfortable hammock I've ever laid in (definitely recommend booking a room with a loft!). The interiors were beautifully designed with big windows/views, and we also appreciated the overall layout of the room and felt that we could easily unpack without feeling cramped. However, we did utilize the extra single bed for storage, so 3-person parties could be tighter on space. Location is great as well, within walking distance to many restaurants/shops and not far from the train station either. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here for a winter getaway in Garmisch!

The accomodation is absolutely stunning. The rooms invite to relax, the wood smells amazings and everything feels so cozy and comfy. Absolultely loved it. It feels like coming home. The views are also amazing, especially towards the mountains, everything I hoped for

Nothing to dislike, maybe a bit of a different breakfast choice would have been great, but thats just minor plus point

The lodge is beautiful, and the design elements included are really creative. It was really enjoyable spending time in the lodge. The staff (Kai) is very nice and helpful, and him informing us that the street parking is free was really appreciated. The location is perfect - close walk to the center, to Lidl and to the cogwheel train station that takes you to Zugspitze. I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back to GaPa.

The only thing was that the shower room does not have a curtain as a door /privacy.

Architecture was marvellous, great location and design, friendly staff, perfect service. The breakfast was tasty and rooms very well appointed. We had a great time. They also provide paid parking with EV charging facilities, we opted for free on-Street parking thou.

Breakfast was tasty, but not value for money. €18 per person for a set menu, no choices and average coffee was not a great start to our day. Parking at the premises was also a is a bit pricey, couldn’t justify it at €20 per night/day. Good thing free street parking was available and hotel staff were great at recommending this as an option. Overall the pros outweighed the cons.

Very clean place with a unique interrior! A minimalsts dream with an amazing location - right in the middle of the city, close to local restaurants. If you are looking for a place to stay and you want something different to a usual hotels - this is a place to stay. Also, very close many nature trails,, mountains and places like - Eibsee lake and Zugspitze mountains.

The apartment was filled with character, was clean and comfortable but the deck was absolutely the star of the show with views of the mountains and the town. Our host was welcoming and informative.

Nothing to improve here but if you do use the bunk beds make sure whoever is on top can navigate the ladder.

1) Booking.com says luggage storage available But quartier reception says no luggage storage, luckily the reception agreed to keep our bags for few hours after check out 2) Lower floor was very cold, carpet/mat would have been helpful

wonderful stay with a lovely Alpine lodge feel, had a sense of being very tranquil and private while being extremely close to restaurants shops and transport. Kai, Sarah and the team were so welcoming and helpful during out stay. Kids loved it, definitely a must stay in the area.

The hotel concept was very unique- it was like a service apartment with restaurant facilities. I liked the Scandinavian vibes and design of the loft. It was cosy and good enough for us for a short stay. Town was a 10min walk but manageable.

It was our third time and we’re hoping to be back again - we love it! The wood, the design, the views, and the breakfast. Hanging upstairs in the hammock, reading books and peeking out the window was just wonderful.

For the fall season, it felt like having a warm blanket around would’ve been very convenient, especially to use upstairs with the hammock - it was slightly chilly, prompting us to rely on heating (could avoid using heating otherwise). Additionally my husband complained about inability to “dig into” the pillow, so some “pillow menu” could be nice.
