Gorgeous room and the decor was beautiful. Friendly staff, delicious food and great location. Dyson fan in the room was a lovely luxury touch, along with the tasty biscuits and selection of treats. It’s lovely to stay somewhere that looks like it does in the photos! Breakfast is superb and excellent variety of choices to suit everyone! The cleaners freshened up the room every morning which was a lovely touch. I just can’t rave about this place enough!!!

Our room (6) definitely needed some fresh air - the window just wasn’t enough and even with the fan on it is rather stuffy; I understand for the most part it’s just the layout of the building, which of course can’t be changed.

We spent 3 nights at the Harbour Hotel in Porthleven. So many superlatives- the location was amazing a glimpse back in history and a great feel of community. Seeing families fishing for crabs, playing in the harbour and the beach gave our experience a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The hotel ( recently refurbished) was excellent - attention to detail in the room and decor, quality of the bedding, furniture and provisions. The food was of a very high standard and the service from staff was friendly and welcoming. Regardless of the 600 mile distance from home we will definitely return. Thank you. Read less

Breakfast was delicious, great choice on the menu and the buffet. Staff were all lovely. We enjoyed an evening meal in the pub on our second night. The room was beautifully decorated but had too much furniture in it to move around easily. Good selection of teas on tea tray and bottle of water and fresh milk was appreciated. Nice new bathroom and lovely big towels. Great view of harbour area from the window. Handy to have parking next to the hotel.

It was expensive for such a cramped room, mini bar items and tea tray had a layer of dust including on the crisp packets. Shame about this because the rest of the room was absolutely spotless.

The room was small but the comfyness of the bed ( & quality bedding, plus the huge size of the bed) more than made up for it 🥰breakfast choice was exceptional ( i opted for eggs royale, but 2 was 2 much for me, so asked for half, plus hash brown, … if they have it, they will do it 🥰)…. Hotel was on the sunny side of the harbour, so got the last of the sun, in the heart of Porthleven…. They even provide you with thermal waterproof coats for bad weather 🥰

Found the bathroom floors/ corners very dusty and the room wasn’t vacuumed each day, that was a bit dissapointing as we had been on the beach, so had left a bit of sandy mess 🤔

We absolutely loved the new decor in the rooms. We've been to Porthleven many times before but this was our first stay at the pub. It was quiet and the room provided everything we needed. The shower was lovely - hot and powerful, the bed was so comfortable, the drinks tray and fridge were lovely additions. We could take our time over breakfast and were not made to feel we needed to hurry out.

We loved everything about the room and the pub. We were disappointed not to have had Sunday lunch as the staff had forgotten to book us in so check that this has been done if you book.

The room was cozy but no view. The breakfast was fairly good. The location is amazing. Lots of pubs and food around! The pub was beautiful, a very nice place to sit and have a drink.

The staff woke me up at 7.30 putting the bottle bin out. This could have waited until atleast 10. The breakfast was good just an underdone hash brown and overcooked scrambled eggs to complain about. Also the menu said sundried tomatos and they gave me regular.also one night I asked the staff for 2 forks for the room, the lady was happy to help but the man (manager?) Seemed put off and said go on then.

I have just spent a wonderful night at The Harbour Inn, Porthleven. Situated right on the harbourside, location couldn't get any better. I was travelling with a dog and so I had a DF room which was just gorgeous, spacious, comfy and the bed was like sleeping in an actual cloud! The staff were ALL just fabulous and so friendly. The menu is varied and delicious. I still can't quite get over the value either. Highly recommended, the Harbour Inn does not disappoint. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nada, absolutely loved everything!

*Excellent location overlooking the harbour. The hotel has parking and there's also some free public parking just outside. *The room was small but beautifully decorated and very well equipped. We stayed in other St Austell Brewery pubs during our trip around Cornwall, and this was by far the nicest. The bed was comfortable, and I loved the addition of fresh milk and two free beers in the fridge. *Public areas of the hotel/pub were very pleasant (especially the outdoor seating overlooking the water) I would definitely return.

*The weather was hot during our stay and because the room was so small, it became very stuffy during the night. There was a fan provided, but it was still very warm. *Check in time was strictly adhered to, and getting the attention of someone to check us in took a while in the busy pub. *Breakfast starts at 7.30am, which was too late for us as we needed to head to Penzance to catch the ferry.

A lovely pub on the quayside. It’s been refurbished fairly recently and has been done to a high standard. The room was very comfortable, and the little touches, like a shopping bag for browsing the local shops, raincoats (for the British summer!) and free beers in the fridge were all nice. Bathroom was lovely and modern too. Breakfast options were good and nice and relaxed rather than the scrum you sometimes get. Staff were all very pleasant and a special gluten free breakfast menu for my partner was very welcome.

Very little. It is not cheap, but then it’s Cornwall in high season. I imagine parking might be a problem when the village is busier

Loved everything about this stay. The location is beautiful, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was so comfortable, had everything you could want and more. I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. All the little touches were great and it was spotlessly clean! The food in the restaurant was incredible for both dinner and breakfast. I would highly recommend and this will be our go to place for any date night or special occasion in the future. Thank you.
