On arriving the staff was very helpful and made me very welcome. The bedroom was clean and a good size. The pool staff were also very friendly and the pool and sauna was great.

Unfortunately the breakfast staff were very rude. I was led to my table and told someone would be with me shortly. However after several minutes I asked a waitress and was sharply told to wait a minute. More time passed and so I got up and found someone to ask for a breakfast. No questions on any extras, sauce nothing. Unfortunately I wasn’t the only person who waited. A lady on the next table still hadn’t been seen even after I got my breakfast. It wasn’t overly busy so I cannot see why no one came to see me. If I hadn’t of got up I would have been late for my appointment. Some of the lockers in the pool changing rooms are broken. And no explanation or poster on how to use.

Great reception on arrival, and the hotel and room are very clean and 'neat'. The only meal I had was breakfast, which was served quickly and was excellent.

Parking! For the number of rooms the available parking is nowhere near adequate. I had to park in the 'pay & display' down the hill. It's not far, but it's fortunate I don't have any mobility issues as if so it could cause a problem as the hill, while short, is relatively steep.

The location was perfect and enabled ease of access into the town, the beach, walks and ferry to St. Mawes. Our room (spa lodge) was perfect and gave us privacy and peace throughout our stay. The spa was lovely and the grounds and restaurant were wonderful. The team were all warm, welcoming and kind - they really made it extra special. Thank you to them.

The breakfast was getting better throughout our stay and it was well stocked, however service was a little slow, but nothing that wouldn’t be expected in a fully booked hotel in the height of summer. After reading some of the other reviews it’s clear the team have worked hard to address this, and the team were really polite and clearly cared about the guests.

Location was amazing. Booked luxury King room which was great size and beautifully decorated. Had dinner in the restaurant on our last night, food was amazing and the server, Caitlan was fantastic at her job.

Breakfast service was not organised. First morning, they take your drinks order when you are seated. Nothing arrived and we had to ask 3 times before it arrived. Second morning, we had to ask 2 times before someone took are breakfast order and when it arrived one of them was incorrect and went back, still came back wrong but I ate it as by this time it was 35 minutes in. Third morning, got fried eggs even though we ordered scrambled and got coffee even though we ordered tea. So not a great service.

The hotel room was lovely and very clean and comfy and we even had a sea view. The use of the spa was a great bonus as the pool was wonderful and great to have the facilities below our accommodation.

We felt the breakfast service let the hotel down. There was quite a limited choice (of cereals, fresh fruit and hot options) and it was a bit chaotic in terms of taking orders and delivering orders. The food was only ok and I just would expect more for such a lovely hotel in other ways. If I stayed again I would opt for no breakfast and eat outside the hotel which is a shame.

Very good breakfast and bar, Very good location and access to the beach, and very friendly and lovely staff. We especially loved the SPA and Swimming Pool, they had a great atmosphere and excellent range of facilities like the Finish Sauna and Cornish Sea Salt Steam Room. The experience was beyond expectations, and would definitely visit again.

Our first room was not as clean as we expected, but staff was very understanding and changed us to a much more comfortable and cleaner room. We switched again due to limited room availability, but still was cleaner and comfortable. The staffs were lovely and helped us to move our luggage and our belongings, which were arranged neatly and didn't miss a thing. I feel like the resort and the other rooms were very clean, perhaps that room particular was just a matter that needed more attention. Overall, I would not say it was a bad experience, the staff definitely listen and work on customer feedbacks rather than not admitting or ignoring them.

Loved the location , friendly staff on reception, great pool and room was wonderful with bonus of a balcony . The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The only negative was breakfast . The service was slow and the cooked breakfast was disappointing. I appreciate that it was a busy weekend for the hotel but we waited over 40 minutes to have our order taken and this was only after I managed to attract the attention of the staff. Had we been told that there was a delay that would have helped the situation . We felt that although there seemed to be plenty of staff, they didn’t actually appear very efficient.

Apart from breakfast, everything was exceptionally good. This was our 6th visit, and we will be going back for sure. Bar staff and restaurant staff were excellent, polite, and friendly.

The breakfast. Please, please, please just do normal baked beans and hash browns... NOT tasteless new potatoes and experimental bean mix of cannelloni beans, kidney beans, onions and tomato....put my husband off and we saw copious amounts sent back in the mornings. Breakfast was luke warm at best although the plates were piping hot. Having said that the continental choice was first class.

Great location , lovely room , lots of space and light , excellent facilities and air conditioning worked really well, balcony that did give a sea view was a bonus , breakfast was always busy but staff were attentive and polite and all food on offer was delicious, any interaction with staff was positive , used pool which was very good and had a drink at the bar and the garden area , both really nice areas , two minutes from an excellent beach and ten mins walk into Falmouth , no complaints and would happily return.

The hotel, was extremely clean in all areas. Spa facilities were very good. From the start, the reception team were very welcoming and helpful. After checking us in, we were then shown to our room. All staff were very polite, helpful and very professional at all times.

We had a slight issue with breakfast one morning, in that we did not receive our breakfast. The breakfast area can get very busy and congested at times . There didn’t seem to be enough staff covering breakfast at their busiest times. On complaining about this on reception. On our return, we had received a card in our room, with a handwritten apology notes. Giving us a credit to our room, and vouchers for cocktails . Very professional in the way they responded to our complaint.
