The location (from one aspect) was fantastic. It was right on the waterfront in the heart of the entertainment area. The beds were great and the size of the room was perfectly appropriate. The breakfast served was fantastic and the staff all friendly.
It was quite a hot night when we stayed so we needed to have a window open. It only could be opened a few inches. However, given the location in the heart of the entertainment area if you wanted to sleep before midnight it really was a little bit too noisy. Early in the morning the sea gulls set up a racket and then the garbage trucks arrived to pick up and crush the glass left out the night before (with its own charming racket). The actual accommodation is wonderful, but given the noise, may want to consider windows that are better glazed and air con.

Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful at all points. The room was cosy and modern and it was a lovely touch having the local tea/biscuits in the room. It was great being ablecto order any hot breakfast off the breakfast menu. Continental selection was small but very good and differed the 2 mornings we were there - to be expected when there are so few rooms.
Would be good to have better quality fans in the room as this building has single glazed windows which do not fully slide up to open, it got very hot when sleeping!

Highly recommend Chainlocker hotel rooms! We were in Muriel, a dual aspect room . Very comfy bed, we slept really well. Room has everything you need including a coffee machine. All staff were extremely friendly. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was great. We also had dinner which was equally good. Would definitely stay here again, the pub is fantastically located right on the harbour front in town . You need to park your car in any of the central long stay car parks but there were always plenty of spaces.

The hotel is in an ideal location, easy walking to shops, and restaurants, sea views, just a lovely atmosphere, food and beers good all round. Room was a good size, spotlessly clean, a small staircase, but it is a historic building and to be expected. There is a lift, but with a upstairs breakfast room, with lovely staff and a chef with generous food portions gives a good start to the day.
Not the hotels fault, but car parking can be expensive, so we parked at the railway station car park, and did not use the car during our stay. This car park was much cheaper than the big one by the Maritime Museum.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chain Locker. It was quiet in a beautiful location on the quayside with lots of outdoor seating area. We very much enjoyed our breakfast looking out across the harbour - continental with fantastic coffee. Our room was quite spacious and I thought the lighting and decor was well done. I especially liked the shelving with the quayside cleats and all the nautical elements, photos and artwork. Good shower, comfy bed, central waterside location.
The only issue for us was the lack of parking. Nearest overnight car park that we found was 15 minutes walk although we did drop off suitcase nearby at the quay - hoping cameras will not result in a fine for drop off.

The room had character and was comfortable. The staff were friendly and obliging. The breakfast was excellent but took a long time to arrive although the view from the restaurant was lovely. We found parking off site in the street quite easy and enjoyed the walk around the harbour despite the rubbish that was floating in the water.
The time that the breakfast took to arrive and the filthy water and rubbish that was apparent in the harbour. The shower was too small.

The welcome was the best, friendly, and informative and we shown to the room, very unusual these days, despite arriving slightly early. The room was excellent. Clean, comfortable well equipped. The shower was very good and hot. At breakfast, the morning welcome could not have been bettered. The choice was good and very generous, with excellent coffee. I liked the presentation of the Milk and Juices was very unique in the individual pop type bottles. The staff was as helpful as could have been expected and we would return if we needed to stay in Falmouth. Thanks to all and to the owners for providing such a nice place to stay.
Dich the mini coffee machines, as they were difficult to get a hot coffee, Try a good quality granule coffee or provide say Coffee Bags, like tea bags that some of the better coffee makes now provise.

Beautiful pub on the harbour side a short walk from the town centre. Excellent food and beers. Comfortable rooms and beds with all the usual amenities. Surprisingly quiet considering the location. Great breakfast selection too!
Nothing. But be aware though as an old pub in the town it does not have any dedicated parking. However a long stay carpark is a short distance away at the "dell" train station.

Great location, very comfortable room with great view, very clean and well presented, nice touches with Elemis products in bathroom. Great food in the restaurant and excellent service. Host/staff really helpful and friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating in the pub with great views.
Not a complaint just a few observations - Lots of stairs up to rooms so if your mobility isnt great it might not be the best spot for you. There is no on site parking however if you don’t mind the walk there is long stay parking about 5-10 mins walk away.
