The Grove is in a prime location - right near the Mariners Quay and within easy walking distance of Gyllyngvase Beach. It is also on the lowest street level in town which is so much better than most other accommodation which requires a trek up several (often steep) hills. The high street starts within a hundred yards and is full of interesting shops. There are loads of restaurants, pubs, cafes and bars nearby as well as access to the ferries. There is no reception but this was clear on booking and the owner is always on hand if you need anything (responded immediately to a query we had). The rooms have a fridge and microwave and the guest information makes reference to making breakfast in the room if you want to (but bring your own plates and cutlery). There was plenty of space in our room which was well appointed with a table, chairs, plenty of plug sockets, mirrors, hairdryer and a decent sized bathroom. Coffee and tea supplies were topped up daily. Housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient.

Nothing. But note some rooms are up two split flights of stairs and there is no lift.

We liked the location opposite the sea, a museum & Tesco. We were happy as we reached Falmouth early morning after travelling for 10hours during the night & we were given our room earlier. Thank you Geoff. Although a bit far to walk from bus/coach station especially with luggage. Restaurants nearby.

Dust in drawers which I cleaned before using & hangers were dusty too which I cleaned. Fridge was not completely empty with leftover food from previous guests most probably. But as soon as we reported these slight problems, the owner took action immediately although I cleaned the drawers & hangers & threw the leftover food from fridge. But he did speak immediately to his staff. The Staff were nice, they did apologise. But they were nice anyway on our arrival. Thus we were happy that things were solved quickly. Room was clean.

Great Falmouth location, opposite harbour and near shops and many food and drink options. Easy access, with coded locks on front door and room. Spacious (single) room with good shower room, a desk and chair, plenty of hanging, shelf and drawer space. Kettle, microwave and fridge; disposable plates, bowls, cutlery.

Curtains/curtain rail could do with some attention. A dab of WD40 could work wonders! Bathroom glass shelf unit a bit scruffy (rusty feet). Otherwise, everything was great.

Contactless check in was easy and fuss free. We managed to find free parking on the road which was a bonus. The location is excellent. I always sleep with a fan on & there was a super powerful fan which was great. Mattress and pillows were super comfy. Sash window could be opened, which you don't seem to find often now (health and safety gone mad!) so we slept soundly with a lovely fresh breeze coming in - bliss! Toiletries were provided which is always a nice bonus.

Not much not to like here at all, it's a fabulous place to stay in an amazing location. If I were to be super fussy, one of bed side lamps didn't work and there was a bit of dust here and there.

Really convenient location if you plan on a night out in Falmouth, just a short walk from the pubs and bars and facing the beaches. This hotel also had the comfiest bed I have ever stayed in I’ve never slept so amazing.

The accomodation is close to the city center as well as the train (Falmouth Town). Easy access to the apartment, all information is sent by the host. The room is cosy, cleaned every day. The host is super kind.

Everything was perfect, except: the bathroom door cannot be fully closed. But as a single traveller it wasn't a big problem.

Great location. Breakfast nearby was great. Bathroom could have done with somewhere to hand bath towel and curtains were difficult to draw. Everything else was great. Fridge and microwave not used but an unexpected bonus! I’ll be back…

The room was perfectly clean. The 2 members of staff we came in to contact with were very friendly. Its location is perfect for town and the beach. We had a view of the harbour which for me is perfect but if you don't like hearing a road then book a garden room. The room has everything you need in it. I like the keycode for the main door and room door. The room we stayed in no 14 had and amazing bed thats huge. Plenty of space in the room aswell. Perfectly located for me to be able t9 visit my mum just up the road.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Perfect location close to the train station and the town, great facilities with both a fridge and a microwave in the room and a super comfortable bed. I loved my stay here and know where I’ll be booking the next time I come to Falmouth!

The Grove property was ideal in location, short walk away to train station, shops, bars, restaurants and town. The bedroom was lovely furnished and was always cleaned very well (we put our "please clean room" sign out when we left in the mornings, and when we returned the room was immaculately cleaned. Would definitely return again.
