This hotel is in a beautiful location with fantastic sea and coastal views and access. If the weather is good, this is an idyllic place to spend time. The bedrooms are functional with comfortable beds and pillows. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great for families and dog owners. Better for couples outside school holidays. Lovely garden terrace to sit and take in views and main eating areas also offer good views.

Food was very average. Menu options promised to deliver, but execution was poor. Service is friendly but not polished. Poached eggs at breakfast were soft boiled rather than runny. Orange juice is poor quality and tastes artificial. Such a shame that food didn't match views and surroundings. But this may have been our choices.

Very relaxing place to eat or drink in a great location.

You have to book the swimming pool for 30 minutes, which isn't a problem, except that nobody checks who is coming in and out of the pool. On separate occasions, there were guests who were in the pool for far longer than their allotted time. This makes it awkward for other guests and also means that the facilities (hot tub) aren't always available. There were two ladies who were in the pool before our 30 min slot and were still in there for the 30 min slot after we left. They hogged the hot tub for most of our 30 mins, and because they were quite large, we couldn't share the tub.

This beautiful hotel is situated on the cliffs with lovely sea views and coastal walks either side. The restaurant and extremes area which is like a huge glass conservatory have amazing sea views. Food was delicious lots of choice for breakfast. Staff were friendly and kind upgraded us on the day to a sea view room. We had a bath and a shower which were great the room was big bed was comfy 2 radiators in our room which we didn't use as the room was the right temp for us. Heated towel rail in the bathroom. The pool and Jaquzzi was an added bonus and we enjoyed our massages by the very talented Lucy I felt so relaxed after. This hotel is close enough to Mullion village to walk and we found a gorgeous thatched roof pub which was very quint and quirky it had a bread oven in the side of the wall it's called the Old inn. We eat in the other nearby pub Mounts Bay inn the food was extra nice I had a delicious fish pie and crumble and custard staff were really nice even giving us free carrot cake. after defo recommend going there to eat. Hotel was clean and warm we will definitely be back

There was nothing that we didn't like

A perfect spot overlooking the ocean with magnificent views. The staff are friendly. They used to do a little newspaper for their guests every morning sadly no longer. The toiletries are wonderful!

The 2 nights we ate in the hotel the menu was exactly the same and quite restrictive. The heavy reliance of paper for ordering food which had to go a long way to the kitchen each time . Breakfast was very expensive! Personally we don't like showers in the bath we are getting a bit old to clamber in and out, a walk in one would be so much better

We loved absolutely everything about our stay. We chose to stay in one of the hotels Villas as we had our two older kids and our dog with us. Everything about Villa 6 was great. It was clean, comfortable, with lots of extras that came in handy(plenty of towels, toiletries, dishwasher tablets and detergent pods, dog bowls, baby gate, clothes horse, iron and hairdryer to name but a few!) and the view was stunning! The villa is in very close proximity to the hotel and all of the hotel facilities. The kids loved the outdoor pool and we all had loads of fun in the games room. The vista lounge provided us with a delicious cream tea and we had an evening meal too, which was delicious. All of the staff we met were extremely helpful and friendly. I honestly couldn't recommend the Pollurian enough :)

There are no negatives.

Wonderful room with a beautiful bay window and high ceilings. Fantastic views across the sea. I was concerned as my room (807) was on the ground floor but it was super quiet and relaxing. Bathroom was great with really high end fixtures, luxury toiletries and a powerful rainfall shower. Staff were all exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious (so great to have a full vegan breakfast option!)

I honestly can't think of anything! I imagine if you visited during school holidays it would be busier and noisier so if you appreciate peace and quiet I would suggest to visit out of season!

The hotel is in a beautiful spot with incredible views and they really make the most of it with the lounge/bar and restaurant spaces. The gardens are also beautiful and the outdoor pool had a great spot. The staff were lovely and very helpful and attentive. We had lunch in the vista bar and it was very good. Breakfast was excellent too with plenty of choice and freshly cooked hot dishes. It was excellent value for Cornwall in the height of the summer holidays.

We were a little disappointed to have to book a time for everything - breakfast, dinner, spa use. As we were away without children we wanted to be a bit more relaxed and flexible. I can understand booking the spa as it is rather small and also used by member and spa day visitors but mealtimes seemed unnecessary as they weren't particularly busy. You can only use the spa for half an hour a visit which isn't mentioned anywhere. In fairness it's long enough as it's only a small pool and jacuzzi but useful to know ahead of time. Also no toiletries in the showers which is odd for a "spa". Finally the room was nice but very small and the bed was very small. Next time I would pay for a nicer / bigger room.

The location of this hotel is just perfect for a secluded get away. Right on the coast with an easy walk from the back of the hotel if you wish to explore the surrounding beauty (which is highly recommended!) or if you wish to sit and enjoy your breakfast or a coffee with a wonderful view from both eating areas. Also perfectly situated to be able to drive out and explore the surrounding areas (which again I would highly recommend). Breakfast was included in the room cost which is perfect especially as I travelled out of season meaning some places were still closed for the winter. There was a great range of hot and cold foods and staff were happy to help with any queries or amendments. My room was lovely, warm, clean, spacious. I took advantage of relaxing in the bath every night! I ate in the restaurant a couple of nights during my staff and the staff were always pleasant and welcoming. I had the most delicious pea, mint and feta risotto! As I visited out of season I was able to access the pool and gym facilities without any issues and there was always a car parking space available. I also accessed the spa for one of their spa day treatments - head, neck, shoulder and back massage followed by a facial - heaven!! My masseuse was brilliant! This included afternoon tea in the hotel which was delicious with very generous portion sizes. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, would definitely recommend and would definitely return!

As I mentioned, I visited out of season and so was able to enjoy the hotel and Cornwall in general at a quieter time but I would be mindful of how this may change if you are visiting during the peak summer months - I cannot guarantee the difference but I imagine my review may not be as accurate for those travelling in August in comparison to early March! The pool and gym although perfectly useable are a little dated and could do with a bit of TLC.

The Food in the restaurant was really delicious, I had Fish of the Day and it's one of the best meals I have ever had. Great selection of Cocktails. The room had a nice view. Breakfast was nice also. The Massage I had after checking out was very good, Emma is a super Masseuse !

The Swimming Pool area felt a bit neglected if I'm being honest. The Hot Tub was ok but not strong enough, probably needs updating. I had been told I could have a hours swim but actually it's a 30 min slot but I really was about done after half an hour anyway. If the pool had been nicer I would have wanted longer.
