The location offered an amazing view and the building itself is worth a visit too. It had a very sophisticated feel to it owning to the buildings old glamour and the majestic location on top off the cliff. It was very well renovated and offers a great deal, especially considering the price you pay. We only stayed one night as we were hiking on the south west coastal path, for which it is very well suited, but you can definitely spend a pleasant time there if you stay longer too, due to the wealth of activities it offers (tennis court, amazing location, outdoor pool and an indoor pool for kids). Thanks for the great stay!

The location was amazing with the option to walk down to the small beach. The views from the bedroom and restaurant were beautiful. Plenty of car parking spaces and the choice of outdoor pool or indoor were great. We didn't use the spa facilities but a great option, a suitable place for families or couples, and loved the look of the villas behind the hotel. Food at breakfast and dinner were of exceptional quality, and the staff were very attentive to our needs. The hotel was spotless and the 3 stars didn't do it justice. A return is a must.

I wished I had booked for a longer stay, the requirement to book a slot for eating and swimming maybe a put off for many. One party didn't like the music in the restaurant so it was turned off, which created a quieter atmosphere.

Very nice hotel with great garden and absolutely stunning view. Good restaurant with nice food - nothing extraordinary, but all fresh, compliment with souses, and delicious deserts. Morning breakfast was good as well. We was happy to have an expresso coffee there. Only what was missing on breakfast is small pastry bites. We definitely come back to this place with whole family. And it is enough activities and walks for minimum 3 nights. If you lucky with weather it is a beautiful beach in 10 min walk.

Staff was really friendly, but, because hotel was nearly full, it was a bit of waiting on a bar and at the breakfast.

This room was a last-minute bargain, booked on my phone when our original hotel had to cancel our booking. We were delighted with our good luck! The grounds are lovely, and the views from the dining room and Vista lounge are stunning, especially at sunset. Staff are friendly, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a lovely, distinctive character. Although it could do with a coat of paint in places, it is clean, with good facilities, and I know that they have plans to smarten it up. We arrived, looking pretty scruffy from coastal walking and sea swimming, and were made very welcome.

As there is no lift, a member of staff to carry cases upstairs would be appreciated.

This hotel is in a beautiful location with fantastic sea and coastal views and access. If the weather is good, this is an idyllic place to spend time. The bedrooms are functional with comfortable beds and pillows. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great for families and dog owners. Better for couples outside school holidays. Lovely garden terrace to sit and take in views and main eating areas also offer good views.

Food was very average. Menu options promised to deliver, but execution was poor. Service is friendly but not polished. Poached eggs at breakfast were soft boiled rather than runny. Orange juice is poor quality and tastes artificial. Such a shame that food didn't match views and surroundings. But this may have been our choices.

Very relaxing place to eat or drink in a great location.

You have to book the swimming pool for 30 minutes, which isn't a problem, except that nobody checks who is coming in and out of the pool. On separate occasions, there were guests who were in the pool for far longer than their allotted time. This makes it awkward for other guests and also means that the facilities (hot tub) aren't always available. There were two ladies who were in the pool before our 30 min slot and were still in there for the 30 min slot after we left. They hogged the hot tub for most of our 30 mins, and because they were quite large, we couldn't share the tub.

This beautiful hotel is situated on the cliffs with lovely sea views and coastal walks either side. The restaurant and extremes area which is like a huge glass conservatory have amazing sea views. Food was delicious lots of choice for breakfast. Staff were friendly and kind upgraded us on the day to a sea view room. We had a bath and a shower which were great the room was big bed was comfy 2 radiators in our room which we didn't use as the room was the right temp for us. Heated towel rail in the bathroom. The pool and Jaquzzi was an added bonus and we enjoyed our massages by the very talented Lucy I felt so relaxed after. This hotel is close enough to Mullion village to walk and we found a gorgeous thatched roof pub which was very quint and quirky it had a bread oven in the side of the wall it's called the Old inn. We eat in the other nearby pub Mounts Bay inn the food was extra nice I had a delicious fish pie and crumble and custard staff were really nice even giving us free carrot cake. after defo recommend going there to eat. Hotel was clean and warm we will definitely be back

There was nothing that we didn't like

A perfect spot overlooking the ocean with magnificent views. The staff are friendly. They used to do a little newspaper for their guests every morning sadly no longer. The toiletries are wonderful!

The 2 nights we ate in the hotel the menu was exactly the same and quite restrictive. The heavy reliance of paper for ordering food which had to go a long way to the kitchen each time . Breakfast was very expensive! Personally we don't like showers in the bath we are getting a bit old to clamber in and out, a walk in one would be so much better

Wonderful room with a beautiful bay window and high ceilings. Fantastic views across the sea. I was concerned as my room (807) was on the ground floor but it was super quiet and relaxing. Bathroom was great with really high end fixtures, luxury toiletries and a powerful rainfall shower. Staff were all exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious (so great to have a full vegan breakfast option!)

I honestly can't think of anything! I imagine if you visited during school holidays it would be busier and noisier so if you appreciate peace and quiet I would suggest to visit out of season!
