The staff is simply the best, so nice, welcoming, helpful, making everyone feels special and at home.. i don't have words to describe it ! The place is super clean and confortable and with everything you would need. The bathroom of the dorm was big, spotless and brand new compared to the usual ones. The dorm itself was big, super clean.. The hang out area, in the patio, is comfortable and will allow you to chat easily with other guest, with the staff members.. sometimes for hours !

It is not a critic about the place itself, but just to help next travellers : in Malang people arrive late or get up super early, because of the tours around the city (Bromo, Sewu...). So don't forget your earplugs, also because the place can have some eccho because of its beautiful hight celeings :)

The people who work here need to get a raise because they did really well on treating their guest, really superstar. Love their architecture, we stay in economy room with the fan and shared bathroom and we were not expected that the room was not hot at all, and the shared bathroom was sparkling clean. I dont know how they do that but they did really well on keeping their place clean and tidy. There is a full set kitchen that we can use, a communal area where we can have a chat with other traveller. This hostel is very close to kayu tangan area, stasiun malang, and also a lot of cool cafe nearby, its a plus for this one. The receptionist always recommend something for you every day so dont worry if you dont have any plan or dont know what to do in malang. We love this hostel, and for sure we will be back.

It was the cleanest hotel/hostel I've ver been to. Seriously, it was super clean! Moreover, the stuff was super friendly and helpful. They prepared iced beverages when we came back from the trips. Additionally, our room was super big and we had plenty of space to work. At the beginning we thought there was no one in the hotel, because it was so quite. It is very helpful especially when you need some rest after coming bak from the waterfall or Bromo. The neighbourhood was really nice with many restaurants and colourful houses in a walking distance.

Location was amazing, near a laundrette where you can get laundry washed and dried under 2h through self-service. Also close to local warungs and an indomaret. Staff were really lovely and welcoming - we booked the 3D2N Tumpak Sewu, Bromo, Ijen tour and it’s amazing! Really well organised and great to stay in their sister hostel in Banyuwangi

Would be good if the hot water from the water dispenser worked, would be quicker when waking up early in the mornings to make a coffee Wifi a bit patchy but have signal to use data Lots of people are doing tours and waking up at different times so definitely one to think about if you prefer more peace and quiet

I loved everything about this hostel! It’s extremely clean, well located, nice dorm room and lots of social areas. The staff are so so friendly and helpful and were able to answer all of my questions. I booked onto the Bromo trip and the waterfall and both were amazing. There are lots of places to eat nearby and the area is super safe to walk around. Met lots of amazing people here, everyone was up for chatting and sharing tips.

Nothing - everything was perfect Only suggestion would be that a WhatsApp group could be a good idea so people could join up if they were doing something or to share ideas

The location is super super good. It is located in a calm street without cars and noise. The workers are really kind. It has different common areas so, there is always space for everyone. They are cleaning all the time. You fell that you have your own room, you don't have only a bed.

Sometimes in the room there are too much noises, because all the people are doing activities such as Mont Bromo or the waterfalls. Maybe they can try to put all the people of the same activity in the same room, but it is super difficult I know. The stairs make a lot of noise too.

I highly recommend staying here! The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well stocked, there were tons of places around the house to hangout, and the space itself is beautiful. But, the best part of this place is the staff! They were always incredibly helpful and kind, whether we had a question or just wanted to chat. They also helped us plan activities like Bromo through the hostel and even gave us advice when we decided to see waterfalls on our own. Plus, there are tons of cool cafes and restaurants in the area!

The property itself was enough for backpackers who are travelling from one place to another! The people were out of this world when it comes to friendliness, kindess and helpfulness!! They contacted us trough whatsapp upfront to check if everything was okay! They arranged a 3day-2night tour for us to visit Tempak Sewu waterfalls, bromo and ijen with a full day itinerary! The transport was all included and also to bangyuwangi (revive by snooze) and even to our next stay in bali after the tour with a ferry included as well!! Definitely worth it!

This place!!! As soon as you walk through the gate, you immediately feel welcome and at home. The staff at the reception offered us a welcome drink, gave us a tour of the hostel and were so friendly and nice. The room came with a mosquito repellent device which was a great touch, since the area is filled with mosquitoes. The room and bathroom were spotless clean (towels smelled great!), as well as the common areas, the design of the hostel is just so cute and modern, it doesn’t even seem like a hostel. It is located in a quite street, but there are plenty of restaurant options around. At night it is calm and peaceful, a perfect place to unwind and prepare for your next trip. The bed was super comfortable, we slept like babies. I could not recommend this place more, if you pass through Malang, look nowhere else!

The only thing I did not like is that I only spent one night there and I wish it could have been more :)

Firstly the staff was amazing! Super friendly, social and genuinely interested in how your day was and how they can help you. It felt like having a conversation with my friends :) Moreover, they arranged the transfer to and from Surabaya Airport for quite a cheap price and they took care of everything. They also organized the tour to Mt. Bromo for me, which was great. So far all great, and I haven’t even said anything about the hostel and the rooms. The rooms have spacious beds, safe lockers and plenty of space to leave your stuff. The in-room bathroom seems like the one of a 4-5 star hotel. Also, everything is very clean. I will definitely be back at Snooze, both in Malang and other of their locations!
