It was close to the beach, its own private beach, where sun beds and umbrellas were included with the room. The hotel also had free parking which was helpful. The bed was comfortable and the staff was incredibly nice. Breakfast buffet (included in my room rate) was good - not incredible - but good.

When I arrived at about 15:00/3 PM, there was no running water in the hotel. No running water. They got the water problem fixed a little after 22:00/10 PM that night. At around 21:00 I asked the manager what time the issue started and he said, "This evening" which was an outright lie. After telling him there was no running water when I arrived, he offered to comp my room. The following morning before I checked out, I said 1/2 the rate was fine. Comping my room was generous but didn't seem entirely fair to the hotel/staff.

It’s paradise from the minute you walk in and receive your welcome tropical drink! The staff is professional, the Manager walks the property and stops to greet you. The property itself is decorated beautifully and they offer the local wines and cheese. They have a full bar, they had a live singer for entertainment one night and we watched from our balcony while watching the amazing sunset. The rooms are spacious with everything you need and more! A 1 minute walk to their private beach to enjoy the crystal clean water and a quiet environment with the locals. The Resturant staff for breakfast , lunch and dinner are 10 star! They are ALL kind, friendly, engaging, respectful and professional. The food is fresh and a culinary delight! The Spa that they have on property is quaint and my massage lady was friendly and accommodating ❤️

They have a local ordnance in Sardinia that will not allow bathrooms on the beach. Not the hotels fault at all, but a difficulty when you need to go, you must walk back to the hotel. The hair dryers in the room are the ones that you have to hold the button down while trying to style and dry and that is cumbersome to say the least for ladies with long hair. They could and should invest in better hair dryers as well as upgrade the soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, not up to par for this level of a hotel and the cost paid for the room.

Fabulous location, lovely staff, amazing food in a beautiful restaurant. We were looked after by Giovanni and his team and every need was attended to. The beach lifeguards were great too!!

Housekeeping of our rooms didn’t match the standard of the rest of the hotel and we had to keep asking for it to be cleaned. Lack of tea/coffee refills and kept missing towels

It’s not about minus, but mainly about specific details of staying: There’s no elevator in the hotel, so it should be considered by people with limited ability. Also, if you have any issues about birds close presence, don’t book the sea-view rooms, as swallows are living under the roof and extremely active within the day. Sea-view luxe rooms’ balcony might vary from photo - I was lucky and thankful to the director who changed the room to the one I wanted with a big balcony. However, within high season it might not be the case.

- Beach sun beds cost money to use if you haven't booked full board (i.e. having breakfast and dinner at hotel) - Normal turnaround time for laundry is 2 days (luckily we were able to get ours done within 24 hours) - thanks again! 🙏 - Android TV didn't work well (limited apps installed and difficult to cast to from a phone)

We had an amazing time at hotel! The location is stunning, right by some of the clearest waters and prettiest beaches you can imagine. The rooms are super comfy and offer great views that make you want to stay forever. The staff here couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful—they really made our stay special! Every meal was delicious, packed with local flavors that left us looking forward to the next one. Being so close to the beach was a major plus. We loved being able to just stroll down and relax by the sea whenever we felt like it. I totally recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing and fun beach getaway. There wasn't much to dislike at the hotel as everything was satisfactory. The overall experience met our expectations. Any minor issues were promptly addressed by the attentive staff.

Wonderful beachside location. White sand, crystal clear sea. Hotel has a really nice vibe with helpful staff and a lovely bar area. Good selection of restaurants around 20 minutes walk away.

Beach beds on the hotel’s private section of the beach aren’t included for those on a bed and breakfast package. They really should be considering how expensive the hotel is already. You wouldn’t expect to pay extra at a luxury hotel.

The hotel is steps from a beautiful beach. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing with lovely landscaping everywhere. Breakfast buffet is perfect and the dinner menu and quality of food is wonderful, too, although a tad pricey. The hotel is about a 15-minute, pleasant walk to the town where you can find additional restaurants and shops. Wish we could have stayed longer! Hotel Simius Playa is definitely our first choice when we return.

The restaurant on the premises for lunch is a bit limited and overpriced.

Parking was tight but given that many other places didn’t offer free parking on site, not a big deal. However, there was a local tax that the hotel charged and booking.com quotes taxes and fees included, which is misleading and should be corrected.
