I stayed in FreeSurfCamp&Hostel for 4 days in July with my two teen children and my sister. We took surfing classes with Miguel and his school and it was great fun. Miguel and his colleague Pedro are really great instructors, professional yet very patient and kind. The hostel is a great base for this kind of vacation. The location is a bit out of the bitten tracks but we actually really enjoyed it. The house overlooks the rolling hills and the ocean, providing a great spot to watch spectacular sunsets. The atmosphere in the hostel is very nice, it really feels like a family place. The cleanliness was top and the breakfast was as good as in the hotel (well, not a five star one but you'll find there all you need). We will definitely go back there!

This beautiful Hostel felt more like a home from home! This was the children’s first hostel experience and they loved it!! The staff are all so helpful and kind and the surf lessons with Migel were so much fun!! The location is quiet and relaxing but close to the buzz of the surf town on bike, foot or by car. We would recommend to any family or friends travelling here for the surf 🌊

Beautiful property- wonderful large kitchen, great facilities. Great pool. Lots of spots to do yoga. The breakfast is wonderful, healthy, lots of coffee provided.

I wish there were curtains in the dorm; there needs to be a little bit more privacy there, including the bathrooms. A lot of the stalls didn’t even lock, so you would feel very exposed. This hostel is pretty far from the main surf break 40 minute walk, better to stay here if you have a car.

Love this house and birds around. The house on countryside. It was perfect to sleep there with open window. No noise outside. No cars. Just a nature. Clean nice house where I felt welcome.

The door handle to the bathroom and my room creaked loudly. It was so quiet here at night that I was afraid to wake someone up with this creaking. Anyway everything was fine for me.

Everything was very clean, good breakfast buffet, the personal is unbelievable friendly. The surf lessons are amazing with Miguel. It’s feels like a family. The location is very good, only 10 min with a bike to the beach and 5 min to Ricle Bar 🚀 I gonna go back soon as possible 🔥

I like everything, to be honest, very well equipped kitchen, nice room, I was alone, but fell like a family member with the stuff. I am sure that I'd go and stay again. it a bit far from everything, but, doesn't bad. I like that I have bicycles to use free of charge.

the lightning condidtion of the saloon. it was a litlle weak

The staff was great very welcoming the kids had lots of fun shooting basketball and really wanted to stay more to get on the pool. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed to prepare our food.

There was a problem with the hot water in the shower that started and stopped for no reason..

Extremely nice people working in the hostel. We came a little too late for a check in but they waited for us with no issues at all. Parking space for the car just in front of the building. Nice swimming pool with sun beds around, basketball court, football table. Very nice common spaces in the building and great breakfast !!!

Cannot really complain about this one ! Even breakfast which I most of the times complain about was great here !! Big spacious room with a balcony. Only think I can write is that warm water was not very stable in the shower and I had to shower fast :)

We stayed in a private family room and it was huge! Very well equipped and clean. It was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and the staff super nice. We definitely want to go back.
