Our stay in the hotel was great, it is very close to the beach, you can get there in a 3-5 minute walk, where you can enjoy a long walk along the ocean. Very convenient that the surf school and the rental service are located near the reception, so I rented a board with a wetsuit and had a chance to try the waves of Peniche. The staff in the hotel were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good, totally worth it.

good rooms with large and good beds. 2 good swimming pools. The breakfast is quite fine with great variety and good quality. The best for us is the sports centre just at the basement, they have all equipment you could wish to borrow in a beach vacation and they are really good and professional staff. My son did surf lessons every day and we rented bikes and body boards. The hotel is excellent money value, it’s the 2nd time we come and we will be back again

We had a great stay at Star Inn Peniche! The location is excellent, especially if you’re visiting for surfing—there’s a surf school right at the hotel, which was super convenient. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and we especially loved the outdoor pool. Overall, a very nice hotel and a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

Location great, from our sea view room view on waves possible. Room was relatively large, bed was OK, on the hard side but that was fine. Bathroom with bath was nice.. Swimming pool available which alas we couldn’t use, caps have to be bought. Breakfast fine. Fast check out. The hotel itself is a bit older, but nicely kept.

No separate shower, very small toothpaste which we had forgotten had to be bought (€2,50) together with toothbrush. Dinner in restaurant was not the best (very oily) but waiters great. Price in low season relatively high.

Good base for trips in the area. Visited Obidos and Nazare. Made a tour of the Peniche peninsula and much liked it. The small peninsula of Papoa was a nice walk. The reception was very friendly and the room was large with a large bed. The dinner and breakfast was buffet style, but when I told I am vegetarian they prepared a vegetarian burger for me, even though the standard choice was already sufficient

An option to get a cup of coffee or tea in off hours (or a cooker in the room) would be nice.

This hotel is appropriate if you’re a family or group. Having stayed at some beautiful places in Portugal this hotel was just ok. The beach across the street is beautiful.

The pool was very crowded and busy- it appeared that many guests were there for the indoor pool facilities. We stayed on the second floor where we could smell very strong chlorine. The food in the restaurant was not good- meat was undercooked and bland.

Lovely welcome from staff and easy check in. Good facilities and bar/restaurant. I would stay at this chain again. Staff can’t be faulted! Surprisingly great cocktail's for a hotel. Families looked happy & satisfied.

Nothing - it was a little bit of a walk to town but that’s on us! Also a warning that a swimming cap was required - just not sure whether it was hygiene reasons or high chlorine reasons. No big deal - if weather was warmer we would have asked.

The hotel is perfectly located in between peniche and baleal. The rooms are quiet big, clean and comfortable, the mattresse was great as well! a big plus for the balcony to store the surf equipment! The breakfast is really good and diversified (loved the fresh pasteis in the morning), and there are plenty things to do in the hotel in case you come across a rainy day!! The staff is very nice as well! I recommend 100%!

The stuff was great(Lilian), very helpful, very kind and agreeable. Breakfast was good, very nice and fulfilling, the fact that there was a gim, a pull, a jacuzzi,a big parking court, all these were priceless.

We find that the facilities in the room could be of more value to the price- there should be a coffee machine, a refill of the bottle of water, a kettle to make tea and tea
