The hotel is beautiful and well appointed, not crowded- feeling in the breakfast area or lobby. Everything was well thought out here. Front desk staff when checking in was SUPER friendly. She was awesome. Breakfast was really good, except that they ran out of pancake batter more than 45 minutes before breakfast was over and did not refill. Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, toast, bagels. Good breakfast!

The beds were pretty hard, which I don't like. Also, the sink/vanity area of the bathroom was right in the bedroom. This is a problem when there are multiple people sleeping and one person gets up and starts to get ready. The light at the sink lights up the bedroom, so when there's more than one person sleeping in a 2 bed suite (go figure), everyone wakes up. Not ideal when traveling with children (or ANYONE who doesn't want to be forced to wake up before they're ready). Sink outside the toilet/shower area is good, just not IN the bedroom.

Clean and nice suites, perfect for family travel. Decent breakfast, pool, and general lounge.

Our keys stopped working on the next day but not because there was someone in the room, as was suggested by a staff member on the registration desk. We exchange the keys with another staff member later and all was good since.

we were greeted by a friendly front staff. We were given goody bags as we checked in containing a water bottle, Chex mix, breakfast bar and a cookie. It was a pleasant, unexpected surprise. Our room was clean and spacious. And was reasonably priced. Overall a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again.

Our purpose was in Ames and it’s just a little inconvenient to stay this far out - but that is the only negative.

The evening staff when we arrived was so nice and so accommodating. The next morning I was getting ready for the checkout staff that morning not so much.

The room was great! Bed super comfortable. The little kitchen was stocked with enough *kitchen utensils* to make meal prep easy!

The bathtub backed up past my ankles during my shower.

Nice room and quiet. Kitchenette was convenient and useful. Location was convenient

Bathroom door drug against floor. Very difficult to open and close. Someone's toothbrush left in bathroom after room was cleaned and before we checked in

Very spacious, clean, respectful, great breakfast, amazing staff.

Inky thing I would have changed is that for the queen pull out, there was no bedding in the room and no room service to deliver it- had to call to front desk to find this out and then go down and get it - not a big deal - just something I didn’t think about until kids were ready to go to bed.
