The cold Breakfast provided was more than adequate with lots of variety including fresh fruit. Nothing was too much trouble for Suzanne and Anita. They were friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

The signage into the property at night at the top of the steep street is inadequate and under-lit after sunset, making it confusing which road to take. Reflective arrows and better lighting would be an improvement.

Great location, very quiet and an easy walk to Canungra (assuming you are happy to go up and down a few little hills). Suzanna, the host, is delightful and very welcoming including a courtesy call the day prior to touchbase and advise we could check in early if required - which was very welcome due to having an afternoon wedding nearby. The room and bathroom are great sizes and the bed is very comfortable.

Attention to detail in a couple of small areas would have been helpful - e.g. the tissue box was empty, milk in the fridge would have been nice, soap for the shower would have been good (there was shampoo/conditioner and liquid hand soap for the hand basin however the latter was in a glass bottle and felt unsafe for use in the shower). I found the pillows very soft but that's just me - my hubby liked them!

We stayed one night, the B&B is located in a leafy & quiet street. The room was clean, decorated well, bed comfortable and a new modern ensuite. There is a pool out the back of the property, where we relaxed with a wine & nibbles in the afternoon. The breakfast provided by the host was lovely, toast with avocado & tomato, muesli, yoghurt, banana, orange juice & coffee.

We used the ceiling fan, but would have preferred to have the air-conditioning on as it was a very warm day and night for September & there was smoke from bush fires near the area.

Warm hospitality! Very good breakfast: Hot and cold breakfast served. Tranquil setting; good for relaxation. Abundant bird life. Views restricted to garden and local bush. Comfortable room with en-suite bathroom with shower. Comfortable lounge room, swimming pool and BBQ area as common areas Small fridge in room. Ice maker and microwave in common area. Short walk to Canungra village and shops.

Limited storage: Hanging rack but no cupboards. Maybe breakfast could be by negotiation/order to avoid excess/wastage. Shower without a door made area around vanity quite damp. Limited crockery, cutlery and glassware in rooms ( excludes breakfast requirements ) No kitchen or scullery in common area. Any washing up done in bathroom for stays exceeding 1 night. Only Ice maker, microwave and BBQ facility in common areas. Parking generally in shade but not covered.

Unfortunately, we didn't stay for continental breakfast, we opted for a hot breakfast at a local cafe. I'm sure the breakfast was fine but hot breakfast would be better.

Everything was great, very comfortable and a lot of thought has obviously gone into the experience. Not a negative but the filter in the bathroom needed cleaning, minor and not an issue as the room was very clean and tidy.

The property had a charming modern country cottage vibe and was quite lovely. The design and decor were tastefully done, giving it a warm and welcoming feel. The overall ambience was peaceful and serene, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and homely stay.

I was unwell one day and stayed in. The room became really cold at midday and I found it hard to rug up enough to stay warm (but I may have been cold because of my cold).

The room was spacious, the pool was lovely and warm, amenities were good. The TV remote needed a bit of juggling around to get it to work, then didn't work the next morning - needs attention. The breakfast was adequate and tasty.

Our room was beside the outside water tank, and every time someone used water, the sound was very audible - especially at 5 am when someone else had a shower.

Everything about the odd gecko was amazing. The host was friendly and welcoming and made us feel so relaxed. I’m gluten and lactose intolerant and Suzanne made sure I was looked after for breakfast which was really appreciated.

I really couldn’t find too much that needs improving.

Suzanne was absolutely amazing from the minute we arrived. The room was beautiful and cosy and we had direct access to the pool. We needed a night away after getting engaged and this was just perfect. She was easily accessible and really helpful.
