We're smokers and the fact that you can choose a smoking room is unbelievabley nice, unheard of actually-in today's world! Also the windows actually open .....another huge bonus. Laundry onsite at a reasonable price and front desk always stocked with quarters! Speaking of front desk, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Armond (almost daily) at the front desk and he is an absolute gem! He is always super friendly, super helpful and super customer service skills- let's just say everything is super at Super 8!! Especially Armond!! His professionalism is top notch and he continually went above and beyond to ensure our; and _—5comfortablity. Sadly, it seems difficult to find genuinely pleasant yet hardworking employees anywhere in today's work force but Super 8 has a super star in Armond- keep up the fantastic customer service and making a difference to your guests .....oh, and then there's James, I can't go on and not mention James!!! What an awesome crew member- he is also super helpful and super polite, he assisted me with the door anytime I was entering and exiting with my hands full & even found a hammer for us when we needed it for our truck issue/repair- no questions asked and very expedient! Can't say enough nice things about these guys!!! A huge THANK YOU to you both (and the entire crew)for making our stay so enjoyable!

The lobby smelled very nice going in. The staff were very friendly. The air conditioner works great and was very quiet. It felt safe. The furniture was updated and looked nice.

The bathroom light switch also turned on the vent. It was loud so when someone got up during the night to use the bathroom, the noise woke everyone up. You don’t always need a vent on in the bathroom. It needs to be a separate switch. The decor was a little outdated.

It was very easy to get to, convenient off the Interstate but not close enough to have Interstate traffic noise. It’s not a luxury hotel but it doesn’t have luxury prices. Bed was comfortable, everything appeared to be clean. The staff that we saw were very nice. Breakfast wasn’t great but coffee was good.

There was an odor when you walk in the front door that the owners should probably address. I couldn’t distinguish what it was, but it might turn some people away.

Spectacular service from Mr. Armênio, very attentive, helpful, informed and always attentive, with the joy always on his face, giving us the feeling of being at home

When I swiped my international credit card, income from Brazil blocked almost the value of the 7 nights in addition to the ones I paid, and I'm waiting for a refund of USD up to 428.31, after checking out more than 15 days ago, still there in Dayton and paying in cash, other than that, it's spectacular

The breakfast was good. The location was near the place we were going to. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have the ice machine near the lobby along with a variety of snacks in the vending machine.

The drain in the tub/shower did not drain well. I cleaned hair out of it, but I think it needed some drain cleaner in it as it may have had a clog further down. I was standing in ankle deep water at the end of showering.

Good pricing. Location - near lots of retail, but not buried right in it (pro for me, probably con for some.) Facility quality very good for price. Wi-Fi was good.

I asked for a handicap friendly room. The room was so marked; however, the only handicap amenity I saw was a rail placed between the tub and the toilet. It was a standard tub/shower that I had to step over to get into, and it had no grab handles within the bathing area. The toilet was standard height, meaning low, and not an ADA (AKA comfort height) one. In short, I don't think adding the one railing qualifies the room as handicap friendly. Fortunately, I am not severely handicapped or else I would have requested a different room if they had one, or would have found a different hotel.

The outside of the building and the lobby were inviting. The evening clerk was welcoming and got us our room quickly. We did not have the breakfast, but it had fresh self made waffles and the coffee was hot. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but not a pillow top mattress. The shower and sink were clean and had all the amenities. Our King bed room had a nice chair and ottoman. We would stay here again. The morning clerk was a different story.

The bathroom floor was sticky. You had to ware slippers to walk into the bathroom.

Having the fresh fruit, bananas was good.

Would have been nice to have bagel and cream cheese and plain oatmeal in packets that you could add hot water to. Only breakfast options had sugar and I don't eat sugar. Had dry cereal with sugar, waffle with sugar. I was able to make a slice of toast. Orange juice was not real juice. Overall, it was still nice to have the option of a breakfast available. I made reservations for two on line. It did not ask the name of the 2nd person. When I checked in I told the lady at the desk that someone else would be arriving later. When my colleague arrived, they would not check her in and give her a key. She had to call me and have me talk to the man at the desk in order to get checked in.

Everything was fine. I would have liked to park in front of the building in the evening and not had to walk from the very back of the building. However, the back was well lite and there was a back entry door.

I would like to see 2 queen beds in the room as opposed to two double beds.

Have stayed there many times. ALWAYS exceeds expectations. Staff is outstanding. Facility is comfortable, clean, quiet, and price is always the best and most affordable in the area.
