Stay at Kalka Royal, Katra was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was very comfortable, and conveniently located, making it the perfect place to start and end the pilgrimage. The staff in particular Mr Ajith and Mr Kakaram was warm and welcoming. The family room was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities. I truly appreciate the exceptional hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Vaishnodevi.

I had gone for a religious trip with my family to Katra. My stay at Hotel Kalka Royal was exceptionally good. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and the cleanliness was thoroughly maintained by them. The best thing was that the hotel provides pick and drop car services for the pilgrims who travel to Vaishno Devi to and from the helipad making it extremely convenient for the pilgrims travelling for the Yatra. The best part about the location of the hotel is that it is right in front of the Railway Station making the check in and check outs convenient for the travellers. All in all my stay was beyond amazing as the staff made us feel at home with their professional yet polite behavior. I would totally recommend it.

The Family Room was great. Very comfortable and spacious with 2 bathrooms, which was a pleasant surprise. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, it was just fantastic! The staff at this hotel were very courteous and helpful. They made our stay very comfortable. Food was good, considering all the preparations were without ginger and garlic. Room service was excellent.

Breakfast was quite average with just 2-3 options (plus fruits, canned juice, tea/coffee etc). This is the least option I have seen in any property, so far. There was no live counter which was a big disappointment. For any extra dish (beyond the available options), guest were charged. The restaurant was very small with space for hardly 20 guest at one time. Entire restaurant was managed by just 2 staff members, affecting the service, cleanliness etc.

Everything.. staff is very much co operated. We reached hotel around 9am and asked them to allow us a room so that we can take bath and can start chadhai. They immediately allowed us to check in. It was our third time in this property and I can say this one is best property in Katra. Staff is available on one call within minute. No attitude nothing. Smiley face positive attitude. If you are planing for vaishno Devi, don’t need to think about hotel just book this property.

The hotel was right in front of the Railway station so we just walked to the hotel. The staff was really nice. They provided us alternative room to meet our need for extra bed which was really nice. Beds were comfortable, hot water was available all the time and room service was also on time as we also ate food at hotel and the food quality was great! The hotel staff also helped us with booking commute for our darshan day and trip to Srinagar.

I had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable visit. Another big plus is the location — it’s just a short walking distance from the railway station, making it very convenient for travelers. Would definitely consider staying here again!

The location is on spot. The registration office for Vaishno Devi is just opposite at walking distance. Hotel staff is very friendly. The room is spacious with all facilities.

The restaurant can have a 24 hour menu option as the pilgrims can return anytime. Food otherwise is sumptous. Rajma Chawal combo, paneer lababdar are out of the world!

Loved the stay, great value for money. The main selling point being the close proximity of the property to the railway station, as it's just opposite the railway station on the main road,me and family comfortably walked from the railway station. Also a beautiful dry fruit shop inside hotel so no need to go outside prices are really genuine

Everything was great about the hotel. Rooms were clean and so was the hotel just 2 mins walking distance from svdk railway station. Staff was great

Food options were limited, but what they had was of good taste they told us they would be improving menu and food options soon which is great as people would sure visit again for mata darshan 😀

This was our second stay at this hotel. I would like to point out the amazing staff especially KAKA RAM. He went above & beyond for us especially considering we were a large group of 8 people. KAKA RAM was immensely friendly, polite, and looked after our needs with a smile on his face at all times.

The rooms can be improved a little more in terms of cleanliness & decor.
