Excellent breakfast with a good choice of fresh fruit, pastries, bread, cereals, hot food including egg bar and hot & cold drinks. Also GF section. It did get crowded, as expected for a hotel where large groups stay but they have an overflow area which was a lot more tranquil. Great location. Tromso is easy to get around so nothing is too far away but close to airport bus, nice to have waterfront view. The room made use of under the bed for storage too. Easy to get to places around town Massive window in room which also opened for ventilation Has a pizza place as part of the hotel which does take out - we don't normally eat in hotel restaurants but we arrived late after a very delayed flight so this was perfect. Best Arctic tour company has a desk in reception which was useful for advice and it is minutes walk from the bus station where many of the tours start

Not a massive deal but no milk in room at all if you always want a drink in the morning. The restaurant has paper cups that you can take a drink away with you but not great if you absolutely need a cuppa when you wake up. We did consider buying milk from shops but the room was so hot and unable to turn down thermostat so it would have spoiled. Lighting in room wasn't great - needed more - it was more noticeable when, because of the time of year, you have the light on more.

Good position, right in the city center or Tromso. The room is really large and comfortable.

I requested an extra blanket but the service is too slow. Also at 6am I requested packing breakfast for us before 7am (the breakfast starts at 7am, which is kind of late for my travel group on that day). The front desk said they will have a try but the result cannot be guaranteed. Finally nothing happened before we left the hotel at 6:55am. I understand that my request was too late (I should request on yesterday evening) , but at least the hotel could pack some snacks for us and tell us they are unable to fully satisfy our request. Also, the front desk could proactively offer that they provide breakfast packing service, since this should be a common request for visitors here.

The Radisson Blu in Tromsø was the perfect place to unwind after our Arctic adventures. The location couldn’t be better—right on the waterfront with stunning views of the harbour and the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Everything in Tromsø felt within easy reach, including bus stops for airport transfers and local tours, which dropped us right at the door. The hotel itself was stylish and comfortable, with the kind of clean, minimalist Scandinavian design that feels effortlessly calming. After spending time at a husky camp, returning to a spacious room with a warm shower and fresh clothes felt like absolute luxury. The beds were incredibly comfortable, offering a great night’s sleep after long, cold days exploring. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes—especially appreciated after an active few days. Service throughout the stay was friendly and efficient. Everything ran smoothly, from check-in to airport transfers, adding to the sense of ease and relaxation that defined our time here.

All good.

The location of Radission Blu, Tromso cant be better. Every possible tours start from right in front the hotel. They have an Artic experiences station within the hotel and helps us a lot in planning the trip. The room and the view of Tromso bay were excellent. Staff was extremely caring and professional.

They do not have a restaurant beyond the breakfast, even though they have a pizza joint attached to the hotel, but sadly closes at 9-10 pm. It takes a very long time for pizza delivery (takes more than an hour to deliver pizza to the room even if its in the same building)

The hotel's location is absolutely fabulous. I had a sea/mountain view room on the 8th floor which was wonderful for size of it and the views. The room itself had a comfy bed with high-quality sheets and a bath/shower (very appreciated), a desk and big TV. The breakfast was huge and beautifully run by the hotel staff.

I needed more room to store clothes. I was there for three nights and had to keep a lot of things in the suitcase which was inconvenient and messy. There was a closet, but no drawers for clothes.

Great location.

We decided to upgrade to a standard room with a view and unfortunately, when we arrived the window looked directly onto another part of the hotel. You couldn’t have the curtains open as you could see directly into one another’s rooms and only if you leant to the window and craned your neck could you see some of the water. We queried this with the staff and they said they were fully booked and so we couldn’t change rooms. Admittedly, we spent little time in the room so it didn’t matter too much but I would question the photographs and marketing they have of their ‘sea view rooms’, I’m sure some of them are wonderful but this isn’t consistent; had we known this in advance we wouldn’t have bothered upgrading and just saved the money (roughly £55 extra a night).

We really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromso . We were welcomed nicely by reception and the superior room we had was great . It was clean and kept very clean throughout our stay . The beds as in all the Radisson hotels we have stayed in was so comfortable and the blackout curtains welcome during the light summer nights . We also loved the breakfast and the friendliness of the staff in the breakfast room who were kept busy

It didn’t spoil our stay , but at times it was a bit chaotic with large groups leaving and arriving .

I loved the aesthetic of the Radisson, I always do! Tromso was no exception. We got a free upgrade which was unexpected but very welcome. Our room was spacious for two people with lots of lovely amenities such as a kettle, nice toiletries and such. Each day we got new cups, new amenities and fresh towels. The staff were friendly and pleasant. To my surprise, this was the cheapest hotel available for our dates. Plug sockets were close to the bed which is also a thoughtful, welcome touch. The location was absolutely incredible, right in the centre and our tour meeting points were literally at our hotel and the hotel opposite - perfect! We had a generous check out time of midday on our final day which was ideal as we didn't fly back until the evening. I have stayed at the Radisson in different cities on multiple occasions and always find it a lovely hotel.

We couldn't figure out how to turn off the light on the thermostat. I toss and turn in the night so when facing it, struggled to sleep, as it was very bright. I could have bought an eyemask but I didn't know I'd need one, I don't usually wear one, and I wouldn't know where to find one in Tromso plus it would be super expensive I imagine! The amenities for hot drinks don't include milk; as Brits, we favour tea over coffee but Europeans don't seem to drink tea that much, and if they do, it's flavoured without the addition of milk so just something to bear in mind if you're a (British) tea drinker.

The young man who checked us into the rooms was extremely helpful. After 4 days on the Hurtigruten with the worse room on the boat (3rd deck overlooking the loading ramp - ugh!), I asked him if I could have the quietest room in the hotel and he ensured that I had it. Boy, did I sleep well that night - thank you!

There was a plug in my room next to the bed - 840 - that did not work. As it was the plug closest to the bed, it was unfortunate.

The hotel is in the city center and convenient to everything! The location is excellent! All our tours began nearby or in the lobby of the hotel itself. In fact, there’s a tour desk in the lobby to book tours and to assist you. The room was small but clean and comfortable. We had a view of the harbor. There was daily housekeeping and coffee was replenished each day. The room had a kettle and a small refrigerator. The fitness facility was small but well equipped. We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants at the hotel (no breakfast) because so many other options are close by. I can’t comment on their restaurants as a result.

Getting into and out of the shower/bathtub could be difficult, especially for a person with mobility issues or older, like me. The bathroom was quite small and tight. Limited English programming on the television. We could not get any streaming to work on the tv as the WiFi signal was a little weak in our room. No towels provided in the fitness center. While we didn’t have such a room, be aware that some rooms look into other rooms directly across the small alley. Privacy may be an issue should you be assigned such a room. We upgraded to a harbor view and it was worth it.
