I enjoy that the unit is peaceful, very equipped and in a great area. The bed was amazing and the room was really beautiful.

The television is not a smart tv and you can only watch DSTV but, the owners have every channel for you to choose from. Upon our arrival the cleaning lady was rude to be honest, we sat outside and said hello, she ignored us twice, we arrived before 14h00 and so the host said we can call her husband to open for us, it is not a problem. We sat in front of the gate and the cleaning lady literally just ignored us walking around in the parking area. The host and unit is lovely it is in our experience just the cleaning lady that was rude that was a little off-putting.

Rustic Forest was thé most beautiful guest house we have ever stayed in. From arrival till we left everything was perfect. The friendly welcome was warm and very informative. Ansie went out of her way to accommodate us on very short notice. The room was spotless and had everything one could need and much more. Comfortable bed, very clean and well equipped place to stay overnight and even for longer periods. The personal touches we appreciated, was the welcome snacks and the rusks that was in the room. I would recommend Ansie and her guest house to anybody needing a place to stay in Bloemfontein. Safe parking was an added bonus. In future it will be our first choice stay in Bloemfontein. Value for money and 5 star for sure.

There was nothing not to like.

Needing an overnight stop over in Bloemfontein, we chose Rustic Forest since it is on the edge of the suburbs and is in a quiet and peaceful area. The room itself is huge and modern with a well appointed kitchen area and a toilet/shower room. There is plenty of cupboard space and a very comfortable king-size bed. backup power had recently been installed, so no problems with load-shedding. We were delayed in our travels and only arrived after 21:00 and left by 8:00 the following morning so we didn't get time to fully appreciate the place. Even so, Rustic Forest is a place that I would be happy to stay at for a few days on any business trip.

The only gripe that I can think of is that the shower cold water is like a switch. It is very difficult to adjust the tap to give a comfortable water temperature. Not a train smash though and will not prevent us from staying here again.

Large spacious room with lovely finishes and decor. Kitchenette excellent with induction plate, kettle, microwave and small fridge. Delicious complimentary rusk. Most of the facilities are off-grid, thus minimizing the impact of loadshedding. Secure off-street parking. Really a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Lovely surroundings, very cosy and clean. Thoughtful with extras like electric blanket.

Just wish there was a carport that was usable for me, other than that amazing place.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Just the way I wanted it prepared, without me even having to consult with staff. Almost like the staff knew me before I even stepped foot into the establishment.

Perfect stay! Cozy room, warm hospitality, and excellent value. Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I liked everything about the place, the location was quite, the surroundings was very peaceful the place is beautiful, exactly what I needed to de-stress. Hodt was gracious and welcoming.

Very helpful and friendly host. The unit had everything you could possibly need and very comfortable.

Maybe a bit more space but only because we were travelling overseas and had bulky luggage.

Beautifullly decorated, comfortable room. Exceptionally clean and has all the amenities one could wish for.

Quite a drive from the N1, but worth it!
