everything. This is beautifully curated, luxury accomodation on the Gendarmstein. The rooms were large, with dining or lounge area and mini kitchen, with gorgeous private bathrooms. We dined in at night and the food was superb - it clear that there is a love and respect for fresh produce. We ate our own breakfast in the sun overlooking the beautiful garden.

Couldn’t fault it. The only thing I can find to add is that I almost didn’t book this accomodation based on the night time photo on the website.

The house and grounds were STUNNING. It is a historical house, renovated absolutely perfectly with a beautiful huge garden surrounded by nature. Sooooo beautiful. I loved having my breakfast on the terrace looking out onto the garden. The room was also tastefully renovated and it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay including a kitchenette.

Minor details: I think the heater wasn’t working because my room was cold and there was a machine behind one of the walls which buzzed. Bring your own blow dryer, because the room doesn’t provide one.

It was modern and clean and in a good location

There was no towel rails in the bathroom which would have been nice to dry the towels on.

Very comfortable room, spacious, and a nice quiet location close to the highway. We were greeted late in the evening and it was easy to check-in.

Nothing at all. Everything was great.

Very comfortable and spacious room in a quiet location. Good breakfast.

Location is a bit out of the way - nowhere to eat nearby. Communication with host was poor, took several days to respond to a question and link to Guestbook provided for more info did not work. Does not take credit cards for breakfast but not advised of this in advance so had to scramble for cash (option of bank transfer is difficult and costly from US).

The little old fashion style

Nice spot and surroundings. Spacious room with old style furniture (if you’re into that) Quiet stay and open for self check in (as we arrived late).

We stayed in the Elise room, which had loose electric plugs in the wall, a fire alarm hanging open from the ceiling. The bathroom door handle falls off, the water was lukewarm at best, the floor became a puddle after showering. The bed sheets smelled like mold (or not washed), and sheets were itchy. The mattress was extremely soft and not good for the back. No personal touch, we never met any staff. Window blinds don’t darken.
