The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable, along with the bedding - even the toilet paper was extremely high quality (an appreciated detail). The kitchen was what surprised me the most. I was able to cook myself breakfasts, prepare lunches and cook my dinners as it is fully equipped and really well maintained. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Flensburg.

On my first night there was no hot water in the showers, but I found out it was a city-wide problem and not just the hostel. This problem didn't happen again during my stay though.

The welcome was friendly and the room was very clean although a hostel it really was like a private hotel room

As its next to a section of cobbled road, if there in the summer and windows are open, then cars driving over the cobbles may disturb some, not us, but just be aware. With the windows closed, you don't notice this so much, and they did provide complementary ear plugs.

Super clean and comfortable! Flensburg is a lovely city and this was the best hostel I've ever stayed at. They allowed me to check in after official check-in times, and gave me super clear instructions and everything went smoothly. Windows and walls were thick so I traffic noise or sounds from other rooms did not bother me. Felt safe as a female solo traveler. Stayed at a one person room, it was spacey and beautiful.

Bathroom and shower locks were not the strongest. Felt still safe tho.

The bathroom was amazing, it was the best hostel bathroom ever. Very big, clean. It could have a hair dryer, but everything else was amazing. The bed is comfortable, it doesn’t have curtains, but it has plugs and a light. The location is amazing, very central, near a bus stop.

The locker in the room was really small. They do not have lockers for you to leave your luggage if you arrive early - instead, you can leave your stuff at the reception, but it stays out (where anyone could see or take something). The reception is not 24h, which can be a problem if you are arriving late or leaving early.

Nice hostel in the centre of Flensburg. We had a doble room, which was exactly like any hotel room. It was a bit pricey, but with access to a kitchen and ensuite bathroom, its acceptable. It appears to be newly renovated, and has a lovely backyard. The view from our room, overlooking the harbour, was very nice. Would come again if need be.

Our room faced the street, and as some parts of the street is cobbled, it was very noisy whenever a car drove by. As the street was also the main street into the centre, there were quite a few cars. There was no aircon, so one can either sleep in silence but sweaty, or with an open window but with a lot of noise.

Easy check in (I sent a message a bit late to inform our check in time which was around 11 PM to midnight and Liv answered promptly). The instructions to find our key in the keybox was easy to understand. The room is very clean, very cozy and comfortable. It feels authentic without being old-fashioned. Although it's mentioned as sea view, in front of our window is the bay. Our room faces the street but the hotel provides us with ear plugs to use if we wanted to. I am a very light sleeper so I decided to use them and I slept very well. My husband and I are considering to come back again.

Nothing bad to say about this place, but if there's anything to note: 1) It is preferable to pack your belonging in a backpack (not in a suitcase) because you need to carry it to your room using the staircase. 2) Too bad there's no fridge inside the room. I like to have a bottle of cold water to drink at night.

The hostel is very nice and confortable, everything was recently renovated in a lovely style! Much more pleasant than what I expected from a hostel! Very well located on the harbour and next to the Main Street.

The lockers are not very big and the room not very large for big luggages.

Seemannsheim is excellent value for money with views of the harbour and v warm hospitality. Top marks to the staff. Recommend the delicious and fresh breakfast.

Sadly, there is a lot of noise from cars on cobblestones. The hostel cannot do anything about this and kindly provides earplugs We would still stay again!

The location was rather convenient and everything was perfectly clean

One of my roommates happened to be someone who seemed as homeless. He was quite loud and smelled abhorrently. That was of course a bit unpleasant experience. Nevertheless the accommodation itself, particularly bathroom, was in splendid condition

Everything was good. The staff was attentive and helpful. The rooms are clean and have a nice cosy design. We bought breakfast at the place and it was delicious. They have a common kitchen where you can play some game or have a free cup of tea. The location is just opposite the marina and very close to the center and supermarkets. Good value for money. I will go back 🙌.
